Happy New Year! Big improvements at the Paddock today and thankfully the sun was out. Steps over the park pale and a new easier to manage pedestrian gateway. Repairs to the fence damaged by the fallen tree.

New dog digging area. Holes are hazards but not when they're safely in a special area. Kids get sandpits, dogs at the Paddock get a digging area.

After a busy weekend of bookings, my Monday morning starts with emptying the poo bin. Don't feel too sorry for me, I saw deer, squirrels and a couple of acorns fell gently on my head. Wonderful warm autumn morning. 🍂

With hit days, I popped up to the Paddock early to empty the poo bin and check for water. It was just so lovely.

Beautiful morning at the dog paddock. Sunshine, birdsong and bluebells. The grass is lovely and lush green at last.

It finally stopped raining long enough for us to give the paddock a bit of a Spring clean. We have moved the shelter and had a tidy up of the fencing, put some gravel down in the gateway which was turning into a bit of a moat - almost needed a drawbridge! In December we thought it would be nice to have a Christmas get together for those dogs who are happy to socialise in a secure environment. Repairs will be taking place in the paddock on Sunday to secure the fencing. Getting ready for winter!

We have increased our opening hours to make the most of the long summer evenings. The shelter is fixed and the paddock has some lovely paths mown in amongst the wild flowers and long glasses.

A lovely quiet spot on a beautiful evening. Only popped up to empty the poo bin but it is just so peaceful up here.

April showers and gusty winds are evident at the paddock. New roofing panels are on order and we have done our best to secure the roof. It will hopefully be fixed in the next few days. Sorry for any inconvenience if the April showers arrive whilst you are up at the paddock.

Thanks to Noll Countryside Services, our field shelter is now upright. Still needs some light repairs and hopefully open again Monday morning.
