Your pet's ceramic bowl is broken and used to create the mosaic design. 3-4 tablespoons of ashes (optional) can be added to the grout to create a beautiful textured stone effect. Finally, your pet's personal items such as their collar, lead, tag, charm, ball, toy etc are added to complete the finished piece. M

In loving memory of Candie ❤️
I was so excited to make a start on Candie’s Memory Mosaic, I forgot to take a “before” pic of the complete bowl!
Candie’s bowl definitely had her stamp on it and thankfully I was able to preserve all of the letters 😅
Her collar, lead & tag were all equally important to Candie’s owners so they are all key features within the piece. And finally with the addition of some of Candie’s ashes, I hope this Memory Mosaic will be something the family can treasure forever ❤️

My latest Memory Mosaic in loving memory of Charlie ❤️ Just look at those adoring eyes!! 🥰

Charlie was a colourful character with belongings to match his personality!

Thankfully I managed to cut the letters from his bowl without a mishap! His collar & lead were equally important to his owners so both are significant parts of the piece. I love his gorgeous paw print tag which has made an attractive hanging pendant 🐾 Finally with added ashes, every single part of this piece is Charlie ❤️

Alfie looked like a gent to me and I think his Memory Mosaic has turned out quite dapper!

I used Alfie’s bowl for the mosaic and his super slim lead has made a super smart border. Complimented with a little bow & tag to finish in style!

Phew 😅 Client loves her Memory Mosaic!
I was a bit panicky about this one. So many accessories to try and bring into the piece, but I think it worked! The owner said she likes “quirky” and I think this is my “quirkiest” so far!

Bee as a puppy and now 🥰
Bee’s owner wanted a Puppy Memory Mosaic making from her puppy belongings she’s now outgrown. I used her bowl & pink kong to create the mosaic and her gorgeous collar takes centre stage, of course!

My latest Memory Mosaic for Buster ❤️

I used Buster’s bowl to create mosaic design and his ashes are delicately combined within the grout.

Buster’s collar was with him his whole adult life therefore a significant part of him. The small paw print charm you see hanging from his Kennel Club tag had been specially made for him following his passing 💔

Owner happy so I’m happy 😊

My latest Memory Mosaic, made in loving memory of Cookie ❤️

Cookie’s owner sent me a brown leather collar, black leather collar, 1 beige ceramic food bowl & some of Cookie’s cremation ashes.

Cookie’s ashes are delicately embedded within the grout, producing a natural stone colour and the mosaic design combines the beige bowl and both collars.

The black collar had all the gorgeous “bling” but the brown collar best complimented the mosaic colours. So ... switcharoo & the fun began!

The bar was removed from the diamanté buckle and a hole made (thank you Timpsons 😉) to create a gorgeous hanging C pendent. Then I removed the “cookie” letters from the black leather collar and applied to the brown leather collar!

I love it’s simplicity combined with sparkle 💎 Every element belonged to Cookie so the attachment will be huge ❤️

Beautiful Cookie sadly passed away in 2017 💔 Cookie was a bit of a Tom-girl who loved tennis balls and dirty water! 🐾 🎾

Her owner has treasured her ashes & belongings for 3 years and having recently discovered Memory Mosaics, feels this would be the perfect keepsake to treasure Cookie’s memory.

I feel honoured that a Memory Mosaic has been chosen as the perfect tribute and hope to make the owner very happy.

Memory Mosaic completed in loving memory of Honey ❤️

Honey’s ceramic food bowls have been used to create the mosaic. Collar & tag to create an attractive bow embellishment. And finally one of her favourite balls to add a “pop”

I loved making this for Honey’s family and I’m particularly pleased with how the bow idea worked out! The lead was soft enough to fold and work with.

Looking forward to sharing a new Memory Mosaic I have been asked to make in loving memory of Honey.

She was a beautiful girl 💕 Her owners have kept her food bowls, lead, tag and favourite ball. No ashes as she was laid to rest in a beautiful spot in her garden.

Honey’s passing was some time ago and it is only now her owners feel ready to have something made. Losing a pet provokes different emotions in us all and the way we wish to symbolise their memory is very personal in terms of when and how. I hope to make a Memory Mosaic that will capture lots of cherished memories of Honey for this lovely family to share for generations ❤️

Memory Mosaics

Barney was our amazing, quirky, unique moggy who looked like a Russian Blue (but wasn’t!) He lived for 17 years and our family adored him. He had the characteristics of a dog but the ease of a cat! He was a true character and very much part of the family. His end of life was specially arranged to take place at home, and we opted for an individual cremation as we knew we wanted to have something made from his ashes.

Then the family discussions began! We all agreed we wanted something ornamental that could be placed in the home for the family to be able to see every day. Something different and contemporary! We decided we’d like an ornamental standing letter B! The ashes to be incorporated into the grout and mosaic art to be created from broken pieces of Barney’s ceramic pot bowls. We commissioned the work and were all absolutely delighted with the result.

Barney B sits on our kitchen windowsill. The whole family get to see him every day! Aside from the sentimental value, it’s also a quirky piece of art and a great talking piece with friends! I haven’t seen anything else like it and thought how great it would be to make for others and provide the same precious keepsake and joy we receive from ours. So, after lessons learning all things Mosaic I started Memory Mosaics!

Every Memory Mosaic is handmade and lovingly crafted by me. Your Memory Mosaic will be a one-off and totally unique, just like your pet. Incorporating their ashes and precious belongings to cherish forever.
