tually. We also offer home drop-ins and dog walking services in and around the Ashby-de-la-Zouch area. So, what makes us different?... Your dog(s) will ALWAYS be put first. Sounds logical, right?... All dog professionals should say this; however, we practice what we preach… Not only are we IMDT Canine First Aid trained, but we ensure to have all required first aid equipment to hand during our services. In addition, we are fully insured & DBS checked (proof available upon request). In person services provided within Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas, and virtual training is not location specific. Please feel free to contact us to discuss how we can help! These 'Scooby Doo' balls are a real hit with lots of my dogs!🥎

Toys can be used as a high value reinforcer to encourage desired behaviours, especially during training (similarly to treats)... Some dogs will prefer to chase a toy or play tug simply due to their natural predatory drive and desire; making this more motivating than even a super tasty treat!🍗

Today's is Beautiful B̶a̶r̶r̶e̶l̶ Labrador, Harper!🖤
- Score: 30/10 (10 points for each energy-filled morning I've spent with her)!🥰
- Walk / Enrichment Info: Harper is a little overweight at the moment, and so is getting numerous walks in to help shred off those extra lbs (she can't even blame Christmas just yet)! She's doing so well, and when off-lead, she loves to run around, which helps, too!⚖️🐕‍🦺

- Fun Fact: Harper is a big barrel of energy (literally, a barrel!), who instantly rolls on her back at your feet, hoping for the best belly scratches! She's very people oriented, making friends everywhere she goes!🛢

My mid-week reflection has been so motivational this week that I had to share a snippet with you all!✨️

This is Arya.🤍💛🐶🐻
Only a few weeks ago, Arya was scared of strangers and would bark at me constantly due to her fear... After spending only a few hours together, she now eats from my hand, plays with me & rolls over for fusses!🥰
I'm so proud of her and also of myself for executing the plan I created to help her. I won't deny that I had to adapt the plan at times, but remaining flexible to suit the individual dog is a MUST!📑

Today's is Sweetheart French Bulldog, Moo Moo!🤍🤎
- Score: 4,058,361/10 (1 point for each time I've been tempted to take her home - if only she didn' need to be an only dog)!🥰🏡
- Walk / Enrichment Info: Moo Moo has great lead manners and is such a lovely walker. She also loves snuggles when she's finished (especially if there is food!)!🐕‍🦺🍗

- Fun Fact: Not so 'fun', but Moo Moo has to be muzzled for the vet (Frenchie muzzles make them look like Hannibal Lecter!), because she is very frightened and becomes reactive! You wouldn't have thought it with how placid and lovely she is elsewhere!🤿🤫🐑
