Hollie, owner of Kent Animal Training, has been training animals for over 15 years. Having studied with the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and ABTC (Animal Behaviour Training Council), she spends most of her time sharing her knowledge to help train dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments. Hollie's approach is always welcoming and she is someone who is always ready to help. Seeking guida

Although Hollie spends most of her time helping owners train their dogs, she has experience training horses, cats and parrots. Hollie also has experience training a number of different species (including wolves, chimpanzees, bears, otters, tigers and more) and is a Zoo Animal Training Officer responsible for overseeing the creation, development and implementation of training and behaviour modification programmes.

Hollie is based in the Kent area, is able to travel for appointments and is flexible with bookings to suit your needs.

New class dates!!

Puppy classes (under 6 months old)
Our puppy class is a great starting point for you and your new pup. Working on foundation behaviours, appropriate socialisation, handling and working on engagement.

Juniors (over 6 months old)
The most versatile class we offer! Whether it’s following on from puppy training, starting training with a rescue, a refresher for an older dog, you’re looking to try sport classes at a later date or because you fancy trying a training class, this is the one for you.

Focusing on basic training, recall, loose lead walking, socialisation and engagement are just some of things we work on.

Bruce is signed up to our Puppy classes and 121 package to give him the best start in life. Class was cancelled due to the heat BUT luckily we covered a few basics in our 121.
Teaching him how to drop items without causing conflict, teaching him and on and off switch, building motivation in play with his owner and getting some obedience behaviours in there too was all covered in our 121. He was a star!

Hi Everyone, Sam here! 👋🏾

Some of you know me from puppy and juniors class, but let me take a moment to introduce myself to you - think ice breaker from a class! 😂😂

I’m Sam and this is my 3 year old Chocolate Labrador, Binx. I started training with Hollie just over a year ago and my passions are training pups, socialisation done properly and Enrichment and natural treats.

For those of you that have done a class, you’ll have heard me talk about ways to work your pup’s mind and teaching them to settle, as well products for you to try, to give pups the outlet they need.

So many of you ask where you should items from, as well as the training accessories we suggest, like treat pouches, longlines and good treats….. so I’ve set up my own online pet shop! 🥳

Stocking natural treats, training accessories and enrichment products, I’ll be catering for all ages and breed sizes. More products will be added each week as the business grows.

Due to the extreme temperatures, our juniors class tonight at 5.30pm and our puppy class at 5.30pm tomorrow have been cancelled.

We only have a couple of spaces for our juniors class starting on 6th July. Starting at 10am at our training ground in Smeeth, this 6 week class is perfectly suited class for pups over 6 months at any level 🦮

Whether you’ve been to a puppy class and need the next step, recently rehomed a pup that needs a little obedience training or for you to build a bond together, or whether you have a pup that’s going though adolescence, this class is for you.

Puppy circuits! 🐾

Our puppy circuits are part of growing their confidence and trust. Pups are given the time to sniff, explore and use their nose to find the prize of a treato.

Building confidence and trust in puppies is hugely important, as it allows them to explore new things in safe way, while knowing their pawrents won’t force them to do something they don’t want to. Our circuits also given them exposure to new surfaces, textures and scents.

It’s the true meaning of socialisation
