Did you know...by law you now have to microchip your cat! 🐈‍⬛

A new law will come into effect in June 2024 that requires cat owners implant kittens with a microchip before they reach 20 weeks. Under this law, all feline owners are also required to microchip their cats before June 2024. A failure to microchip your cat could result in a £500 fine.

Safe and painless. Many paw parents worry that microchipping their cat is dangerous or painful. However, this is not the case. When your vet implants the microchip, it will feel like a standard injection to your cat. Once the microchip is in, your kitty won’t even notice it’s there.

Here’s a few of my favourite grey kitties!
Apparently the grey cat symbolises
independence, liberty, spiritual enlightenment, intuition, balance, and hope. However, to me that sounds like most cats I know! 🥰

Did you know Bagpuss is almost 50!
Bagpuss was first seen on 12 February 1974. The charming children's animation was made by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin, starring the "saggy old cloth cat" Bagpuss. He lived in a strange shop - owned by a little girl called Emily - which didn't actually sell anything, but was a home for lost property!!
