We have an induction hob, Otto (our Burmese boy) thinks it’s very nice to sit on it when the suns rays warm it up.

I got caught out a couple of weeks ago after preparing some veg. I left them in a covered saucepan on the hob.

I wondered what the aroma was coming from the kitchen only to discover he’d turn the hob on and the veg had steamed dry!!

Smokey was back again this week without her brother and sister. She has a box obsession and favoured the one on the floor. She has a favourite box from home that always comes with her too, it’s a little battered and has been stuck back together many times but she loves it!

Remember Dante? He was here for a couple of weeks in the Summer. He has since grown a super thick, super fluffy winter coat....his bed area appears to be a little on the warm side for him as I discovered him laying on the shelf last night watching the snow fall!

It's been a busy christmas and as a result I missed introducing you to Raggles.

Raggles sisters Starfire and Smokey visited in the summer. Their owner needed me to care for Smokey as she had been diagnosed with Diabetes and required regular insulin injections and monitoring. She deliberated with which of her other 2 cats would keep Smokey company and, as it turned out the cattery was too full to accommodate them all.

This time round I had the pleasure if all 3, Raggles is a sensitive soul and his owner was concerned how he would adapt to his stay in the cattery. I'm very pleased to say that he soon overcame his initial nervousness.....

Remember Renee? This is her 2nd visit and she’s just so friendly and sweet and very very pretty! She’s back again at the weekend!!

There was a worry a little while back that Robbie wouldn’t be coming to stay. He was missing from home for 5 weeks, it’s thought that he had been locked in somewhere. He’d lost a lot of weight but has recovered well from his experience. He will be here for 6 weeks and he is making himself at home.

This is Sonny’s second visit and he settled in quickly. He’s only young so is very playful.

You may recognise these 2 lovely boys. Custard and Harry. Harry starred in a video that had over 1600 plays when he couldn’t stop giving me face kisses! Custard has been a little poorly and it was lovely to see him looking so well.
