Last week we welcomed young Sunny to our group walks 🩷 We visited her a few times as a puppy but she's now loving life on our group walks 🐾 She is one live wire and runs at 100mph but we love her already 🩷🐕🩷

In our group walks we have all different kinds of dogs, but one little lady stands out for all different kind of reasons 🩷 You may remember Brandy. Back in 2022 she had to have one of her eyes removed due to medical reasons, and sadly, she then had her second eye removed. Following her recovery we debated if returning to group walks would be a good idea. However, we decided, along with her family, to give it a try. I'm so pleased to say, not only did Brandy love being back with her friends, she thrived. We're her eyes, we guide her along the paths. We use a lead where paths are not so clear and we use our voices to help her and she does amazingly well. So much so, she's been off lead for some time now. She's enjoying life and its wonderful 🩷🩷🩷

Our story

Having been the best of friends for many years, we knew that working together would be so much fun. We both come from marketing backgrounds, and it goes without saying, we’re huge animal lovers so setting up a business together was our dream.

After careful planning, training and hard work we launched Ashford Paws back in early 2017 focusing on dog walking and pet sitting. Since then we’ve welcomed so many animals and their owners to our family, and it really is like a family. We absolutely love spending time with all our fur babies. There is nothing more rewarding than being welcomed with wagging tails and excited dogs, and then knowing that they are sleeping well after a fun and enjoyable walk. Not to mention, the joy of looking after animals in the comfort of their own homes with our pop in service, allowing the owners the peace of mind that their babies are being well cared for without the stress of boarding or travelling.

We’ve loved every minute of building our little business and seeing it grow to what is an established and respected service in Ashford. We’re really looking forward to seeing it continue to grown and welcoming new paws to our family.
