Yesterday I had Griffin, Bramble, Izzy and Scooter for the day. I do this job because it fits around my anomalies so at one point I was lying on the floor as it eases the pain. One Jacqui, 4 dogs all lying on the floor under the heated blanket.... it was a perfect afternoon 👌🏻

Today I'm looking after Archie and Mouse. They are Vizslas and are brother and sister so they are very cute together and give each other kisses all the time.
We've had an afternoon of cuddles and after only about 30mins they were both snuggled on my lap snoring their heads off. They had their lunch and usually newbies are pretty fussy about eating when routine has changed but these 2 wolfed it down.

Gary doesn't like me doing this "job" although to be honest he's moaned at every job I've ever had. I hate you working shifts, weekends, nights, you might get hurt, the people are nasty...... and now this. However I love it. My body is hurting and I can't sit or drive or roll around the floor fighting like I used to.. I find this therapeutic. Peace, cuddles and exercise. I'm also being trusted to look after a precious cargo... something that is loved and cherished and to me that is a great honour.
I love what I do. It keeps me busy, I love the peace and quiet and I love the responsibility.
Here we have Tilly who I looked after today. We had an adventure and then we had big cuddles and watched a Christmas film together. Look at her smile 😃 she is so happy 😊
