For your pet’s safety and well-being the team is led by Emma Betts, a Qualified Veterinary Nurse listed at The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, (RCVS) with over 20 years experience of caring for animals, including a spell as head nurse of a large practice. We believe there’s nothing better for your dog and you than getting out in the fresh air.

This month, we’re proud to share this fantastic initiative by Support Dogs UK, which is encouraging everyone to embrace the joys of walking with their dogs.

Walking isn’t just great exercise; it’s a bonding experience that keeps tails wagging and spirits high. Let’s all make time to enjoy the outdoors, meet fellow pet lovers, and celebrate our community’s love for animals.

Support Dogs UK is hosting a 'Walk Your Dog Month' Challenge throughout January 2025. Participants can choose to walk 25km, 50km, or 100km with or without their dog to raise funds that help transform the lives of people affected by autism, epilepsy, and disability.

This Gorgeous boy is Arlo 🤩 he is a miniature dachshund also knows as the sausage dog 🌭 Arlo suffers with his skin especially this time of year as he has a grass allergy🌾 which causes skin irritation and red rashes on his feet, chest and tummy, so he regularly comes in for a pamper using the Madra Mor mud treatment. Welcome to A-Z Animal Care Ltd

Qualified, Caring and Professional A-Z Animal Care was opened in 2005 by Emma Betts, a Qualified Veterinary Nurse, having worked in the Veterinary world for 20 years. Emma is a professionally trained dog and cat groomer and an approved instructor / A1 Assessor in Animal Care and Grooming. There are three additional qualified and experienced groomers, all with full or advanced City & Guilds qualifications. All staff are trained in First Aid, Animal First Aid and Health & Safety with regular refreshers. They are supported by three grooming assistants. A-Z is a member of the British Dog Groomers Association and Pet Care Trust, promoting the highest standards in grooming and animal care. We are fully insured. Our fully equipped grooming centre at Bethersden, Kent offers the best for you and your pets. We've plenty of grooming space and best quality equipment. Cats have their own separate grooming room and equipment. You can park right outside and we are attached to the garden center next door where there is large pet shop and a café serving refreshments and light meals if you need to wait. We stock licensed Dog, Cat and Horse Wormers, Frontline Flea treatments and a range of grooming products including shampoos, conditioners and grooming equipment. Leaving your pet in the hands of a strange, new groomer is a difficult leap of faith. We do understand and actively encourage you to come in and look us over if you wish, before making an appointment and without any obligation. We have over 1000 active customers, many who came to us through personal recommendation, which hopefully inspires confidence.
