When I knew we could do no more for my Beautiful Benson I rang Cherry Tree my heart was and is broken but their care, understanding and compassion has been truly comforting . I went to collect Benson this morning and bring him home he was given back to me with so so much care in such beautiful tranquil surroundings and I.know he was treated with dignity and respect. I cannot thank you enough for being so kind and gentle I didn’t have the words just tears but I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart my baby handsome is home with me now . you understood and he had the best end of life care I could have wished for and more …. Thank you

We have worked with Nigel from Time 2 Say Goodbye for many years, Nigel has approached us to use the clinic here at Cherry tree three days a week for end of life appointments in our lovely peaceful surroundings. Nigel will also offer home visits within five miles of the clinic.
Nigel’s availability and booking can be arranged on his website and we have no doubt you will be in very good hands.

Peaceful pet euthanasia. Appointments available in purpose built clinic.Procedures carried out by a experienced veterinary surgeon.

David is quite possibly the nicest human being I've ever met, at a time we were at our most vulnerable he showed us and our dear dog Dagan so much compassion and respect. I had no fears of leaving Dagan with him. He made every part of the process calm and easy to deal with. I am so grateful I found Cherry Trees to take Dagan he got all the respect and dignity he deserved and I can never thank David enough. Truly an exceptional man, family and company. No pet of ours will ever go anywhere else I just hope we don't see you too soon with another.

Culverden Vets – Proudly Independent since 1946

We can’t help but notice that there has been some discussion on various social media platforms recently regarding the differences between an independently owned veterinary practice and a corporate-owned practice. So we thought that we would help to inform our curious followers!

Independent practices are owned by a single or group of individuals, corporate organisations tend to own multiple practices either regionally or nationwide. In the case of Culverden Vets, we are owned by 4 veterinary surgeons who all work as practicing vets daily at our 3 branches (Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough and Wadhurst). We believe that this is the best model for your pets, our clients and our staff.

We can re-assure you that despite many practices moving to the corporate market, we fully intend to remain an independently owned business.

At Cherry Tree, our passion for supporting our clients and their beloved companions has always been at the heart of what we do. We are dedicated to guiding our clients through every stage of their loss, offering comfort and understanding no matter the circumstances or time frame of their grief.
In the near future, we will be introducing continued bereavement support for our community. These support groups will be led by our dedicated team member, Adam. With a background as a veterinary nurse, Adam has witnessed firsthand the multifaceted nature of pet loss. Since joining Cherry Tree, he has developed a deep interest in the grieving process and a commitment to supporting our clients through their journey.
To better serve our clients, Adam has recently completed the Blue Cross “Pet Loss Support” course and earned a diploma as a Pet Bereavement Counsellor. This training has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to offer compassionate and effective support.
Cherry Tree will be offering a variety of support options, starting with group sessions and at a later date adding one-to-one sessions. These will take place on Wednesday evenings, lasting from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, taking place in our tranquil surroundings here at cherry tree. Please enquire via email at [email protected]
These sessions are designed to help you navigate and understand the grief process, its impact on your life, and provide you with the tools to accept the loss of your beloved companion.
We are here to listen, support, and guide you through your grief, ensuring you never have to face it alone.
