Are you aware of blue-green algae?

What you need to know:

⚠️ Blue-green algae are tiny bacteria found in still, nutrient-rich water.

⚠️ They produce toxins harmful to dogs; about half of exposed dogs die.

⚠️ Most poisonings occur from drinking or swimming in freshwater lakes and ponds.
Symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, muscle tremors, and seizures can appear within an hour.

⚠️ Prevent poisoning by avoiding risky areas, checking algae warnings, and rinsing dogs after swimming.

❌❌❌ We have had a male, not neutered Doberman bought into us by a member of the public who found him running by Maidstone road in Ashford. He has a collar, harness and lead on and is all brown. He is microchipped.
