Congratulations to Dainichi Koi Farm and the owner Mr.Yuan Jian D**g, of this stunning, nearly 1 meter in length of superior Nishikigoi, which has taken the prestigious prize of Grand Champion, at the All Japan Koi Show 2025.

Presenting the Grand Champion of the AJKS ‘25…

This has taken them 13 years and of thousands of hours of development, for the Showa from Dainichi to take the top spot, having last won the title with a Showa back in 2012 AJKS.

Japan spring 2025 dates are now confirmed we are looking at leaving Gatwick Thursday 20th and flying back 31st March, arrival in UK 1st April.

We have two spaces available for hobbyists to join us on our voyage to the Meka of Nishikigoi.

As 2024 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on what the has been achieved over the last few years and how we can continue to grow and develop the National Show.

Plans are already underway for the 45th National in June 2025, so keep an eye on this page as we make announcements over the coming months!!

Whatever your plans are for the Christmas period, perhaps heading out to visit a dealer, making a few tweaks to your pond or just spending time with friends and family, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year on behalf of the National Koi Show Committee.
