Learning together . . . . Puppies and Owners in our Hamstreet Classes this evening practising loose lead walking.
Our youngest puppy in class, Stanley, nailing his loose lead walking . . . Go Team Stanley!!š¤©
A few clips taken on week 4 of our continuation Course at the Swan Centre. The work these owners are putting in is awesome.
Received this video a little while ago.
Indy, our 100 mile an hour pup in class who found it hard to use self control and listen to her owner. Katrina wrote "l have a changed puppy". So lovely to see this Katrina, you've never given up on her and youve worked so hard. WELL DONE. Thanks for sending it.
We all had some fun on the final class of the course last Monday.
I still have 1 space left in the 6.30pm class on the 8 week Basic course starting this Monday 17th June at the Swan Centre.
Some of the pups practising lead walking, doorway manners and recalls on a couple of days where the ground was dry enough to use the garden and grass!!
It's lovely to get a video update from clients.
This is young Albus, doing some training out on a walk with his Masters.
A short video of young Indy enjoying her "Go to bed" practise. Indy is a very happy, bouncy, lively young Lab and learning to go to her bed when asked and settle there for a while will be a useful exercise. A work in progress but she and Katrina are doing a grand job.
Very proud of the work all our Puppy owners are putting in. Well done guys.
The last Class of the Course and the last class before Easter so we thought we'd decorate some Easter cupcakes while the puppies practised their waits.
A few of the pups from last night showing the tricks they learnt for their homework.
All the pups and owners did a great job.
Meet little Sunday, who is doing our Continuation course. She adores a fuss and cuddle from me so rather than having toys or food for her to "leave" l used myself.
She did brilliantly, and yes, she got a cuddle from me afterwards.
We were practising walking off lead past an object on the floor the dogs had to leave but young Biscuit also gave his owner an opportunity to put her "leave" command to use when he decided he would go say Hi to one of the other dogs.
He did really well, as did his young handler. Well done to both of you.
Young Bruce practising a "leave" whilst off lead really made us all smile.
On Monday little Rocky and his owner practised a "leave" whilst walking past objects. As a bouncy young pup he did really well.
Monday class and Milo practising leaving objects as they walk past on lead. Once he and his owner have gained confidence with this, we will start to do it off lead.
They did good. š„°
Another one of our Monday Night Crew,
Young labrador Tom enjoying the off lead walking together exercise.
Monday night classes and our young dogs practised some off lead walking.
This is Bruce doing well. š
This is Norman, out and about with his family and practising exercises they've started in class. Lovely to see them out practising in the real world, and as Norman's confidence grows more distractions can slowly be introduced.
Well done to Norman, his owner Daria and her husband.
