Good morning furry followers 😊😻 how’s your week going ?

So far this week has been full of tiny toe beans and lots of purrs, I’ve even managed to take some time out to run a few personal errands. Go me 😊😂🥂

This little old chap is Coco, I’ve been helping to look after Coco now for sometime and he’s is such a gentle little soul.

Coco loves nothing more than little head boshes and purrs so loudly. He also loves to play with the long fishing rod (do remember this is an interactive toy and not a self play toy) I spend a lot of time playing with your fur babies and fully interacting with them, so that they too feel happy in their own home which is a familiar environment to them, helping to elevate any potential anxiety whilst your are away on holiday. I like to think of it as a little staycation vacation for them also 😊😻

I can’t stress the importance of play enough. Remember, all cats play, it’s just to what degree they like to play and remember, it is always on their terms.

Coco’s favourite cat toy being the interactive cat wand ( see link below ⬇️) this keeps play at arms length so that you don’t accidentally get scratched and your cat can mouse or bird, as in chase on the ground or jump inn the air.

Play like this really does help to strengthen the bond between you and your cat and you should be spending a reasonable amount of time daily interacting through play, not just lap time but real play.

Please do keep in mind though that this toy is not a self play toy and should be kept out of reach when you are not interacting with them and another toy should be kept for them to self play with. This could be a small catnip mouse toy or plush. It doesn’t have to be expensive, often the cheapest and simplistic toys become favourites 😻

My goodness, what a journey this little chap has been on. If you can give this little mature male a warm, cosy home not just for Christmas but his forever home… please contact Newnham Court Veterinary Hospital directly.
You know it’s a bad situation within rescue centres when vets are Re homing directly…. If you can offer this little old chap a home, please share so he can find his home before Christmas, his forever home 🏠🐈‍⬛ black cats take a lot longer to re home, a sad state of affairs but it’s the case, so maybe we can all help get him his new family 🐾🐾🐈‍⬛😻

😍🐈‍⬛ LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER HOME 🐈‍⬛😍

This handsome boy is Scabbers, a mature adult male cat that is looking for his forever home.

He has been through a difficult month; he was brought into us collapsed, with advanced dental disease, crusty eyes and nose.
Since his stay with us, he has been castrated, microchipped, had eye surgery and a dental 🥰🥰

We do not normally rehome stray pets from our hospital, but as Cats Protection are full to the brim, we would like to find a special home for him in time for Christmas 🎅🐾😍

He is a lovely fellow, he is unsure to begin with, but will soon love sitting on your lap and enjoying cuddles, he has become a fast favourite with our nursing team🥰🥰

A happy little story for a chilly Morning…

This little chap is Kit, he’s such a fun little furry one. Kit is a self rescue lol 😝 yes it happens.
He made it very clear he wanted to be where is now, his forever home. He was a stray, fending for himself and clearly got fed up with that and he liked the fact his now forever guardians didn’t mind and their other cat didn’t either.

Kit wasn’t microchipped or anything so he is now safe, warm, microchipped etc and loves his new home😻 (after we alll tried so hard to find where he was from)

He loves so much to play & of course I go on about the importance of play a lot, so im very pleased he’s so interactive.

Good morning furry followers 😊😻 on this wild wet and windy Sunday.

I was asked if I’m still out and about and I absolutely am out doing my kitty rounds as always and with an early start and wrapping up warm, it’s all ok 😊😀

This little old chap is Pudding, he’s such a sweetheart, if he’s out when I arrive he comes running over bless him. He purrs for England and makes such sweet little noises when eating, always makes me laugh. He’s a shoulder cat and also loves to curl up on the garden furniture with me in warmer / dryer months and when indoors on the sofa 😻 he love to chase his treats before eating them and skids across the floor. An energetic little old chap.

Auntie A’s Proud kitty moment ….. 😊

So proud of this little guy. This is George and he is a rescue, super cute, very affectionate and loves to play. From our first meet on my first visit he was wanting so much fuss. He’s a real pleasure bless him and I’m looking forward to spending time with him again in the new year.

After a busy time, we managed to get some time out with a holiday, first time in years & it was a wonderful to spend quality time together in some sunshine.

Missing Cat found 300 miles away!

Never give up hope 😻🐾🐾

Beans - a ginger and white cat - went missing late in October after leaving its home in Cumbernauld, near Glasgow. It's not known how or why it travelled to Coventry.
