On our Christmas fun night I set the task of ‘how many tricks can they do in 1 minute!’ This was Nick and Sweep! They won with 14 😳⬇️ Watch out for the others videos!

One of the games at the Christmas games night was ‘find the sausage!’ Thanks to Teddy, Sweep, Rocket, Circe, Jem and Poppy for being so adorable!

Many of you will know my thoughts on ball throwing, especially for young dogs!! It’s not something I recommend for physical reasons but also it often leads to obsessive behaviour. However…. The ball for some reason is really popular with Dinger!! Look at his tail wag! So, in order to use this motivation we compromise and play mini football for a minute as a reward and then I pop the ball away with a cue ‘all done’ this lets him know it’s gone for now! I’ve found it useful with his current dog interest when out on walks and let’s face it, if it motivates him and he finds it rewarding I want to utilise that. #dogsmotivation #dogsrewards

Running through a few basic drills is a daily thing with Dinger and I. Even though these cues are also used outside, running through the basics and rewarding him keeps them reinforced.
