From Wednesday last week, I didn’t have a car, so Wednesday and Thursday’s walk were on the common from Preston Grove.

It made a nice change and we walked down to the farm for a coffee both days. R had a great time on Wednesday running about and picking up sticks. L1 and L had a ball running together. They enjoyed splashing in the streams and sniffing about.

Last week was the last for Paws and Claws, the business is now closed. It’s been a pleasure looking after the doggies and chatting to their owners.

I have really enjoyed going to different places for walks, playing in the garden and having cuddles.

I wish all the dogs and their owners a very happy Christmas and best wishes for the new year.

Today we just had L2 here. We had a very wet walk at Horton Park but the dogs still enjoyed it and had a sniff about. After the walk, we popped into the Old Moat Garden Center for a coffee.

They were warm and cosy in the robes and spent the afternoon snoozing.

L2 is here for the day today. We walked at Hatchlands with a friend and her L.

It was a very enjoyable walk despite the rain, hailstones and thunder storm. The dogs found it a little unsettling but soon carried on walking and were fine. They enjoyed the stream and the puddles and sniffing about.

When we returned home, I gave them a warm shower and wrapped them up in the drying robes. They have been snoozing on the sofa.

Today we have all the L’s and they have had lots of fun.

This morning we played in the garden for a short while before going over to the secure field. They had a great time at the field dipping in the pond, running after a ball and chasing each other.

When we returned home, they had a chew each and returned to play. I threw pieces of cheese in the grass, which they enjoyed finding.

They are now snoozing 😴

Today we have L and L2 here for the day.

We joined friends at Polesden Lacey for a walk, such a shame about the weather but it was still an enjoyable walk.

They all had a shower and a chew when we returned home, we pottered about for a while and played with the toys and now they are napping 😴

Today we have L here. We had a wet but enjoyable walk at Hatchlands with a friend and her S.

When we returned home, I gave them a warm wash, their legs and feet were a bit muddy. I put them in the drying robes to keep them warm.

They are now snoozing 😴

Today we had L1, usually we have three L’s on a Thursday, so as we just had L1 I decided to do a morning walk as well as the secure field this afternoon.

We went back up to Box Hill ( we were there yesterday) and they had great fun running in the leaves. They had a drink out of the trough and they played together in the grassy area near the trough.

They had a rest while I had some lunch, then we went to the field. I got a ball out which they both loved, L is much faster than S but always drops it, then S picks it up.

We are now home and they are resting on the sofa.

Today L and R are here. We walked up at Box Hill this morning with a friend and her S. They had a fabulous time running around in the leaves.

We came across the water trough, they had a drink and R jumped right in and had a little splash about.

We stopped at the cafe, the dogs enjoyed treats and we had a coffee.

This afternoon, R and I have played ball in the garden, L sat on the patio watching us.
They are now napping.

28/11/2023

Yesterday we had L here for the day. We walked at Horton with a friend and her S. After, we popped into The Old Moat for a coffee and treats for the dogs.

When we returned home, they had a warm shower and a chew. They then settled down for a nap.

Today we are joined by L2 and B, they were very happy to see each other. We walked at Bocketts farm with friends and their dogs. It was a lovely mix of woods and fields, we had a two hour walk, the dogs absolutely loved it.

This afternoon L and B have played in the garden and napped on the sofa. S has taken himself off upstairs to lie on the bed.
