About Myself

Like most people I am a huge animal lover, having over 15 years experience in owning and looking after dogs. I have worked as a doggy day care assistant and have boarded and walked a variety of different breeds of dogs all with different behaviours and temperaments. I understand the love, trust, hardwork and patience that goes into looking after animals and will make sure your loved

pooches are well looked after and are happy and comfortable whilst under my care. I am first aid trained and also have completed the following courses:
OA diploma in Animal Care
Animal Care Course Level 3
Dog Grooming Course - in the near future this will be a service I will also be offering
I am CRB checked and fully insured

The Background

Back in January 2020 I finally decided to take the plunge and start my own new and exciting venture in starting my own business. I have always loved working with animals and this has been a life long goal of mine. I started my business journey with my 7 year old sprocker and bestest friend Riley, which is where the business name was founded. Unfortunately in April this year along with the horrific Covid epidemic I had to say goodnight to my beautiful boy and send him over the rainbow bridge. I fully understand and appreciate the love all animal owners have towards their pets - they are family and for me this was a very difficult time. There was a point where I didn't want to go ahead in setting up my business due to the heartbreak of losing Riley, however in his legacy and from close support I have found my drive and passion again and I am excited to see what the future holds for A Life Of Riley.

Another busy couple of weeks as usual here for us, with our crazy ginger gang back together 🧡

The most neediest boys, but the most cutest 🤗

We also had our little guest Sky come and join the party for a one night trial to see how he get on 💙
For any customers who may be a little anxious about leaving their fur baby whilst they go away we do offer one night trial nights before any bookings are confirmed to see how your pooches get on & to give you a peace of mind 😊

As always boarding bookings are coming through thick and fast 📚 April I now only have the odd few days left available, May I am now fully booked ❌️
And June - August are now starting to fill rapidly with everyone getting their summer holidays booked ☀️ so please ensure you pop me a message to get your fur babies holidays booked in with me 🐶

Everyone meet the gorgeous nova 😍

I have been walking her for the past few weeks now...she started off very timid & shy and wouldn't even let me near her to put her harness on...for my first few visits I sat with her in the house to gain her confidence & trust with me..and now look at her 🤗
She has gained sooooo much confidence...she now comes running to me when I come to collect her for her walks..harness on...and now off the lead running around being daft as a brush with all her new friends 🤗💗 very proud!

She is such a lovely girl & has bought lots of fun & energy to our walks 🚶‍♀️❤

80 pictures really doesn't do it justice of the mayhem & craziness this last year has been 🌪

When starting my business 2 years ago and doing all the lovely paperwork side to it I never in a million years thought it would be where it is after such a short time...I have my amazing customers & beautiful doggos to thank for that 🤗💜

It has been a challenging, eventful and sometimes stressful year but I wouldn't change it for the world. So thankyou to all my past, current and future customers for all your trust, patience and continuing support with my business I appreciate it more than you know 💫

But today was her first walk & who better to pair her up with than with our loony luna 🤗

Our two crazy members were back with us yesterday for more walks with
A Life Of Riley 🤗

For those who haven't met our two lovely puggies these are Gracie & Winnie who are also mama & daughter 😍 they absolutely love coming out with the gang & are always full of beans & lots of zoomies 💨

I also bought our gorgeous pup Bailey along as I have been introducing her to new dogs to get her more socialised & comfortable being out and about with them and she absolutely adored our little winnie 🤗 i think there going to make the best of friends ❤

Words can't express how much I appreciate all the support given to me over this past year 🤗

Starting your own business is one hell of a daunting, stressful and possibly one of the most hardest thing I've ever done..and I don't regret a minute of it 🙌

What I would say to people do what makes you happy, take that leap to do things out of your comfort zone, take that chance to try something new...if it doesn't work..who cares? atleast you know you tried? And you won't live with the constant what ifs...
Lifes here for living and I am finally doing the job I LOVE 💜
