Mila and Nala were recently adopted from Pennine Pen 🩷

They recently visited our Ashton branch and saw vet Loren to start their vaccination course and discuss neutering. 💅

Cats can be neutered from 4 months of age or 2kg in weight! 🩷

Cats can get pregnant from as soon as 4 months old and can have up to 5 litters per year 💔

Harley recently celebrated his 7th Birthday!!!🎁 🎂

This celebration was slightly delayed as Harley recently came in for a blood test as he has an illness called Cushings disease which is a condition where the body produces too much Cortisol steroid hormone!

Annie visited vet Rosey this week to start off her vaccination course!

Annie is a Scottish fold cat, they are known for their unique folded ears which was resulted from a natural genetic mutation. Scottish folds can also trace their ancestry back to a barn cat named Susie who had folded ears and worked as a mouser! 🐱🐭

Nelly visited our Stalybridge branch last Friday, for an ovariohysterectomy, which is removal of both the ovaries and uterus, meaning Nelly will be protected from certain cancers and a nasty infection in her uterus, she will also not be able to reproduce.

Obi’s owner brought him in after noticing his lower canine was catching on the roof of his mouth, his jaw was positioned in an abnormal way which was causing the issue. Unfortunately Obi had to have this tooth removed as this was causing him some discomfort. 💔 Here he is having a cuddle with RVN Becky in recovery. ❤️‍🩹 Did you know we have a special dental suite at our Droylsden branch? Our Story

Tameside Veterinary Clinic was opened by the co-owners Gavin McCoubrey and Diarmuid Currid back in 2000. The practice was completely refurbished in 2005 creating a state of the art veterinary clinic. Since opening the clinic has grown with the support of our fantastic clients and we now have a total of 9 vets working over 3 practices. Gavin and Diarmuid opened their second practice, situated in Hyde back in June 2012 and a third in Stalybridge in October 2017. We aim to provide a caring and friendly environment for both you and your pets, and pride ourselves on delivering the highest levels of veterinary care and customer service.
