She is a black and white tuxedo (mostly black with white chest, chin and feet). She isn’t microchipped.

Hello, just a quick update about our Golborne practice: you may have noticed a lot of work going on outside, the drains have collapsed and are being fixed. This means that we have had to close the practice for the afternoon. We are seeing clients at Bryn and calls will be diverted to Bryn. We should be back to normal tomorrow! Thanks for your patience.

We urgently need to contact the owner of a 5 year old, female tabby cat. She has been brought into our Bryn surgery this morning, found on Lowbank Road area. She is currently in critical condition. If you believe she may be yours, please call 01942 717777.

We’ve had a female, white and tan Lakeland Terrier handed into our Golborne surgery.

She was found around the Golborne/Lowton area. No collar, she is microchipped but the details aren’t up to date.

Please look out for Tilly! She escaped from her carrier on the car park at the surgery. She ran away and hid and we would very much like to get her home safely. She is very timid and she has a poorly eye. She is chipped but if you see her or can catch her please call the Bryn surgery or drop us a message. Thank you lovely people of Bryn and Golborne!

Daffodils, the facts 🌼

Daffodils are toxic to dogs and cats, and you should be careful if you have them growing on your lawn or if you’re walking your dog through a field that’s full of them. Daffodils contain small crystals that can cause severe tissue irritation.

Symptoms of daffodil poisoning include:
Nausea
Drooling
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Increased heart rate
Abnormal breathing
Abdominal pain

If you think your pet may have been in contact with daffodils or is showing any of these symptoms, contact your local vet ASAP.
