HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Cost is £4 per 25-minute session, for up to 2 dogs. Add £1 per session per extra dog, so for 4 dogs it would be £6 for 25 minutes.

2. Click on the blue Book Now button to check availability and reserve either a 25-minute or 50-minute slot.

3. Payment is either cash at the bar on arrival, or by PayPal, with [email protected]

4. If it's your first visit to the field, please come to the bar to sign a registration form. Nothing serious, just stating that you have seen the field, deem it suitable for your dog and agree to use it safely and responsibly.

5. Please respect other users and stick to your reserved slot. We specifically make the sessions 25 minutes long to allow 5 minutes for dogs and owners to enter and exit the field without having to encounter other dogs - some of our four-legged visitors are socially insecure and we don't want to cause any distress.

6. Please keep the field tidy by cleaning up after your dog(s). Also please let us know if you see any mess - we do patrol the field daily but are only human and may miss the odd thing.

I have to add a postscript to the page and so am letting everyone know in big bold writing. As everyone who uses my field knows the field is not run as a business, I charge the minimal I can to pay for the upkeep of the field, new fencing, hedge trimming, mowing etc so to fit in with insurance and council restrictions, please note all moneys paid are a donation for the upkeep of the field. Secondly and very importantly, as it states in the letter all users have signed, there is no extra liability on the field, as we are a hotel our insurance covers us for that business use only. Basically this means anyone using the field is doing so completely 100% at your own risk. If you are happy to use the field then please go ahead and book as usual, if not then absolutely no worries. I hate having to make something that brings so much happiness to our pets into a myther but rules and regulations make it bloody hard. Any questions regarding any of this please do not hesitate to contact me via messenger or pop in and see us. Again thank you for time and hope to see you all soon.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, repair work is due to be done shortly on or near the field and we will be unable to take further bookings at present.

You may have heard about the first South Cheshire Real Ale Trail happening this Saturday 12th Oct. We are one of the pubs on the route so please be aware that from 11:00am there will be a bus dropping off and picking up visitors every 30 minutes. It will be driving alongside the field to get to the parking area so some dogs may be spooked. If this is something that may affect your dog(s), please do not book a slot for this day. Sorry, but we’d rather let everyone know in advance than have you turn up and find your dog is nervous and / or doesn’t enjoy it.
