Hi all, I have had another dog with fleas this morning . Please can everyone ensure they check their dogs for fleas before bringing them to your grooming appointment.
It’s always good to check as you may not be aware if your dog has fleas . You can buy a flea comb from Amazon for £2.98 .
When I have a dog that comes into the cabin with fleas I have to cancel my whole day as I would never risk passing them on to another dog. This means loss of income for me and as I am so booked up this then means I have to work very long days to fit everyone back in and I am trying to not work 11 - 12 hour days as I’m exhausted .
Going forward I will be passing the £15 fumigation fee on to the customer and if the dog returns with fleas a second time then I will have to also charge a loss of earnings fee.
I hate to do this and have a moan but it has such a big impact on me and my customers when this happens.

Polite Notice

As lots of you will of seen I have now had the artificial grass laid in my garden and it looks lovely and it cost me a lot of money .
Although I have my cabin in my garden which I work from the rest of the garden is for mine and my family’s personal use .
As you can imagine all the dogs that come get excited about sniffing all the doggy smells and the boys especially then like to mark their scent 🤣🤣
Please can you keep your dog on the lead when you come into my garden and try not to let them wee up my cabin, up my garden furniture and on the grass .
I’ve had a lot that come in and let them off the lead to run around the garden and then of course dogs will be dogs and they want to wee everywhere 🤣🤣🙈🙈
I know it’s difficult but as you can imagine my grass would soon need replacing with 40 plus wees on it per week even with regular washing down and also my cabin and garden furniture as I don’t have time to clean them constantly in between grooming and I feel I shouldn’t have to as I wouldn’t let my own dog wee up them .
I hate doing posts like this as I don’t want to seem rude as you know I love all of the dogs but it is my garden and not part of the space I offer included in the groom.
I hope you all understand , thank you 🩷

We’ve had a new visitor in the Cabin this last week, My daughter Maie. She has been fantastic with the dogs and they have loved her almost as much as me 🤣😍
I have trained her in baths , blow drys and deshed’s so I’m doing an offer this week which includes a bubble gum facial , blueberry muffin conditioner , nail trim and ear clean 🩷
