Pleased to say that we’re still going strong and keeping very busy. Had a lovely time friday treating all the furry ones to some playtime in a secure field with lots to keep them occupied ! We Won 😁 ! A massive thank-you to everyone who voted for Pyp and Gizmo's picture in the photo competition run by Old Golf House Veterinary Group. We really appreciate you taking the time to have voted. Their picture is being framed and will be displayed in all four of their branches (Attleborough, Watton, Thetford and Brandon) and we have some other lovely prizes to enjoy with them. We are delighted and very proud of the wee ones for posing so well to take their picture 😁

Further to our last post we're pleased to be able to confirm that the cabling issues to our landline phone 01953 498226 have now been fixed and it's back up and running again.

A quick message to flag that our landline phone is currently not working due to some issues with the cable affecting most of the village. It's been off for a couple of days and we still have no eta for it to be resolved. If you need to contact us in meantime please use our mobile number 07795 574994, or drop us a line on Messenger or via email. We will post an update to confirm when the landline is back on.

Hi everyone, We hope you are all well and looking forward to the festive season. We are conscious we haven’t posted for a while, apologies but we have been extremely busy. As a result we are still unable to take on any new clients for either home boarding or away pet sits. We will post and update on our page if the position changes. In the meantime we’d like to share a few pics of some of those we’ve had the pleasure of taking care of over the last few months and to wish you all the best for Xmas and New Year !

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely mixed summer weather. We have been having a ball getting reacquainted with some of our older friends and getting to know some new ones.
In our last post we mentioned we were starting to get really busy as more and more of our clients old and new started to feel confident in taking breaks both home and away. This has been really positive for us but a bit of a double edged sword as we are now finding it hard when we have to say no due to not having availability. With the exception of odd days we are fully booked up until late November. A lot of recent enquires have been as a result of recommendations and referrals and we would like to say a big thank you to you all as we really appreciate this. After a lot of thought we have however made the decision that for now we are unable to take on any new clients for home boarding or away pet sitting. We will update you if the position changes.

We know we are extremely lucky to get to spend time with these lovely animals and we hope you enjoy looking at their pictures. Thank you for your continued support.

As we approach the school half term break and our first ‘post lockdown’ busy spell it feels a good time to give you an update.

Since our last post the lifting of restrictions at last enabled us to work through the list of those waiting to come for an introductory visit and it was lovely finally getting to meet them and their furry companions. Having to meet outside did mean having to contend with the diverse weather so it’s great that as from 17th May we now have the option to meet indoors once again.

Booking requests have been stepping up and whilst we do have scope on some dates we are getting quite booked up for the summer so have limited availability. Under the circumstance please get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to check to see if we have any scope for dates you maybe after. We are accepting bookings for home boarding from both new and existing customers but are still yet to resume taking bookings for ‘away’ house sitting from new customers. We are hoping to be able to resume this from 1st July but will keep you posted.

The ease on travel restrictions has seen us starting to welcoming back some guests which has been a real joy and we are looking forward to seeing many more of them over the coming weeks. Here are a few pics of some of our recent guests.

A big hello to you all from all of us here in sunny Shropham. It feels fantastic to wake up and finally see some light at the end of what has felt a very long tunnel.

After Boris’s announcements yesterday we appreciate that you might want to start making holiday plans for the months ahead. On that basis we felt it was a good time to provide an update.

We can confirm that we are able to accept new bookings for home boarding so if you have any dates in mind feel free to get in touch. If you have a pre-existing booking and need to make changes to your plans please let us know as soon as possible.

As the ‘stay at home’ rule is due to be relaxed from 29th March we also hope to be able to resume offering outside introductory visits for any new customers from that date. Unfortunately at this stage we are not yet sure when we will be able to take new bookings for ‘away’ house sitting but we will let you know asap when this changes.

We hope that you have all managed to stay well and like us are looking forward to life returning to normal.

We are both, along with Pyp and Gizmo, waiting to welcome old friends and new so book soon to avoid disappointment !

Festive greetings to you all. xx

Well 2020 What a year it’s been but here’s hoping there is some light at the end of the tunnel and we can all look forward to life resuming to some normality with more happier times next year.

The second lockdown and reintroduction of further Covid restrictions has understandably further affected our business with many bookings having to be cancelled. We are pleased to say that we already have taken a number of bookings for next year and have started to see an increase in enquiries as more people are feeling more optimistic of getting that well deserved break.

With our current bookings in the new year not due to commence until the school spring half term break in mid February we have decided to take a temporary break until then. We will continue to accept bookings now for dates from the 13th February 2021 onwards, so please continue to get in touch if you are going away and would like to make a booking either home or away.

We look forward to seeing you and your furry friends again in the New Year. Thank you and Best Wishes to you all in the meantime xx

Couldn't have asked for better company to bring the lovely late summer to a close.

As we head well into autumn it's a case of bringing out the winter clobber in preparation for welcoming our next guests. Wrap up folks and look after yourselves and each other.

As yesterday was National Dog Day it feels a good time to provide you all with an update and let you know that we are now able to take bookings for away pet sitting as well as home boarding.

We think it’s fair to say that this virus has affected everyone in some way or another and although it was a very quiet time for us, we are just happy and relieved that all of our customers and their much loved pooches have remained safe.

Now that the restrictions have been lessened we are delighted that that many of you have been able to get away and we have had the pleasure of spending time with some loveable, and at times unusual, companions both home and away!

Hi everyone we hope that you are all keeping safe and well. Just to keep you all updated we are able to accept bookings for home boarding so please feel free to get in touch if you are able to get away and want to make a booking. The local Council have provided us with guidelines on the appropriate social distancing and safety measures to follow and we will be adhering to these for any dogs coming to stay for the foreseeable future. We will let you know what this involves before you arrive with your dog.

Unfortunately we are really sorry to say that the current restrictions in place mean that we are not able to undertake any house sitting bookings as we can’t enter anyone’s house. Please be reassured that as soon as we are given the green light to resume this part of our business we will be contacting all our existing clients and will issue a further update to let everyone know.

We have really missed spending time with our four legged friends and we hope it will not be too much longer before we see you all again. If you have an existing booking coming up and no longer able to get away please let us know.

In the meantime we have been keeping busy in the garden getting it ship shape for our fury friends to enjoy.

As we tick off the days in lockdown Pyp and Gizmo have been making the most of it and are keeping us well entertained as you can see from the pics.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again hopefully in the not too distant future. In the meantime Take care and Stay Safe x

We decided to take advantage of the milder weather and headed into the countryside with our own fur babies for some fresh air and check out some new routes for when life gets back to normal.

The Covid-19 outbreak is affecting life for everyone at the present time and is having an impact on travel and holiday plans for many of our clients. We appreciate how disappointing this is and can confirm that we do not have a cancellation policy now nor intend to introduce in the future. If you are unfortunately affected and have to cancel a booking we’d please just ask that you let us know as soon as possible.

We would also like to share that Health professionals have confirmed that there is no evidence to suggest that dogs pose any threat in spreading the virus. We are still open for business for those needing overnight care for their dogs so please do still feel free to get in touch if you need our services. Rest assured that we have taken steps to limit social contact and adopted enhanced hygiene standards in line with recommended guidance. Thank you to all our valued customers. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you and spending time with your four legged friends again soon.
