If you can hear some dog barking......it's one of our neighbors dogs, it has been having a vocal protest this week. It must be missing its humans as they've gone back to work after the school holidays!

About Us...

Home From Home is a new family business based in the countryside near Tullibardine, Auchterarder. I have recently retired from 18 years working with children in Perth and Kinross schools, and launched my dream of running my own business working with dogs. Dogs have been a life-long passion for me, alongside many loved pets – fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, ducks and chickens.

I have lived in the countryside all my life and know how healthy fresh air and nature is for wellbeing. Our dog care service Home From Home gives your best friend enriching exercise in a safe and private countryside area built especially for the dogs in my care. I have a securely fenced ½ acre woodland near Tullibardine, just 2 miles from Auchterarder, that is exclusively available for your dog to run free and explore under my care and supervision.

I would like to introduce you to our three much loved dogs, Chic, a rescue spaniel cross terrier who is 6, Murphy, a rescue English Springer Spaniel aged 9, and my lovely livewire Basil, a working Cocker Spaniel who is 2. They are pampered part-time gun dogs who love a gambol in the countryside followed by a cuddle in front of the TV. My husband and sons say there are more photographs of the dogs than humans in my house and I blush to admit that yes I probably spend more time with my dogs than with my family, who to be fair, work very hard in the countryside.

We also offer bespoke walks where your dog will be treated to an outdoor adventure. Our on-lead walks take place in the woods and countryside around our home. On our doorstep we have nature walks up to three miles in length, so we can cater for the least-to the most-active sniffers. They will have the most exciting time a dog could ask for!
