Yesterday we had great fun again with Sue running some Gundog workshops for us at the field :-)
Thank you to everyone that joined us at Stretcholt for the new courses today.
We had 4 groups of Agility, 2 of Hoopers and 2 of Rally. We tried a new barrier system that seemed to really help.
You all did great at a new venue with lots of distractions! Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing you next week

A big thanks Maria Nash for teaming up with me to teach two Gun Dog workshops today.
A shame about the rain at times but amazing relationships and skills at part 2 this morning building up lots of training and some layers added to retrieves. Then part 1 all getting to grips with use of whistles, breaking down the retrieve and lots of foundation skills.
Thanks everyone for coming along:-)
Lovely to be outside for the 3 Rally groups tonight. Great work everyone! Here is Jess practicing :-)
This is two members of our "K9 distraction team" playing with a lid from a pot of Platinum Pet Food UK left out after training last night...... I have the lid but no idea where they took the pot. #happyfoxes
A lovely walk about the field this morning with Nutty and Ginny having lots of play.
Very quickly our home has gone from 8 to 6 dogs which feels a bit strange for us all.
What are your dogs up to today?
This morning Sarah and Maria teamed up to teach another intro to Gun Dog skills workshop. We were blessed with a great group of dogs and handlers in lovely weather.
We covered heelwork, recalls with whistles, breaking down retrieves, shaping onto targets, forward focus, stop whistles and a hunting game. The dogs worked so well around each other and gave their handlers super focus.
Thanks everyone for your great work today. :-)
Well what a lively day out at the Jurassic Coast Agility Show.
No red ribbons but a lot to be so PLEASED about.
Woody and Ginny both measure into intermediate (lower jumps) and we all got to have a run in a great course set by Barrie James. Unfortunately, I think he must've forgotten to straighten the last 4 jumps out into a nice line as one was offset and caused us all problems ;-) pic attached below.
The Agility community were all really supportive and friendly today and it was really refreshing to be able to a) Enter a show on the day
b) Follow classes and results on an app
c) Have plenty of space around well fenced rings for dogs competing
It made for a stress free day.
Best bit - Woody held his wait, didn't shout at me (much) and didn't bite my leg...... yes he has previous!!

P.s This is Tom's round in the video. That 1 jump.......
