About 70% of a lambs birthweight is put on in the last six weeks of pregnancy. As lambing approaches the ewes feed requirements almost double but her appetite can fall due to the growing lambs putting pressure on the rumen. Ewes that are pregnant with twins and triplets have an even greater energy requirement but can struggle to take on enough energy to maintain themselves and their lambs. This energy deficiency causes twin lamb disease and can endanger the survival of their lambs and in extreme cases can result in the death of the ewe too.

Multilam is formulated to assist with the exceptional energy demand of the ewe during pregnancy. It's a unique combination of four energy sources for phased release, vitamins, trace elements and amino acids to support pregnant ewes suffering with twin lamb disease.
