Axewater Livery

I’m sorry to say that our very successful yard will be closing as Axewater Livery. The owner wants to increase 23%, even though he hasn’t completed any maintenance on the yard for years. Our electric billls are small.

It’s very sad, but greed takes over!

We have decided to make a statement, which we didn’t want to do but it has now become necessary because of constant abuse and lies on social media…..

We had to contact the owner of a pony after her daughter wasn't taking care of him, she fenced him off a tiny section of one of our paddocks, refused to poo pick which meant his entire stable sized paddock was covered in poo and therefore there was nothing he could graze, would leave him without hay and water. We tried to help this young woman but she threw it back in our faces by not paying and becoming abusive to our team. We have since discovered this isn't the first time she has done this.

We are a lovely yard with a very happy group of liveries who all will testify this. All we want to do is create an atmosphere where people can enjoy their horses with no pressure and nothing but support.

Unfortunately in this circumstance we had to get involved when a horses welfare was not being met, due to this we are being slandered all over social media.

If you are interested in a livery space please come meet us, see how happy and healthy everyone and their horses are, come and watch one of our amazing clinics, come and have a drink with us in the bar where we all end up laughing till tears are rolling down our cheeks, then make your mind up as to what to believe. I promise you it won't be the words of a young woman who the police are keeping an eye on.

Ian Wright Showjumping lesson on Saturday 8th May @ 9:30 - 10:15 available, in Kilmington, Devon EX13 7NS.

This has been a very popular clinic we only have one space left due to a horse going lame.

A shared lesson (with two in group) is £35 each or have a private Lesson at £55.

Ian is an excellent and very sort after instructor. We are very lucky that he wants to hold clinics with us at Axewater. He is a lovely man who takes time to work with you and your horse and explain things very well at all levels . Please don’t miss out on this opportunity, just drop us a message!
