We have had 2 stray cats handed in over the weekend. Neither have microchips. Both young adults, one ginger and tabby from the Kilmington area, one grey from the Tatworth area. If you think either might be yours please contact us asap. Proof of ownership will be required. 😻🐈

Christian, came back from his walk yesterday with this poor sparrowhawk. We thought it had a busted wing. The local vet would not take it, but I knew that JJ @ Coombefield Vets Axminster would. JJ has treaded all my special animals brilliantly for over ten years now. When I arrived from Yeovil, JJ was ready to examine the poor thing. It appears that he had badly torn muscles and skin but crucially no broken wing. JJ rang me this evening to say that he has been repaired and has responded well to treatment. He has been located at a private raptor centre and will be released in Hamm Hill park when better. Our Xmas present.
