I did some really satisfying teeth cleans today..I love seeing the before and afters on teeth cleans and knowing that their breath is going to smell sweeter so they will probably get more kisses too ☺️ 💋

Archie (AKA Argie Bargie) and his friend Tilly have been to me since the early years when I started out in 2007 with my mobile van...sometimes my job is just to make these lovely oldies feel as comfortable as possible. Most of the groom is done while they lie down and with achy stiff joints I just do what I can to make them feel and smell better 🥰

Had some real cuties in today and actually took some photos..look! 😅😆
The first photos are Chester, he's a real cheeky chappy, hates being dried and hates being brushed even more... but actually is a real sweetheart despite gnawing on my fingers a couple of times! He makes up for it with kisses so it's all good 🫠🥰
Next was Daisy, such a sweet little Cavapoo...this was her 2nd session with me and she was a really good girl so I managed to get a bit of that unruly coat off to make grooming at home a bit easier

Then I had Storm the Samoyed.....Storm by name and by nature too....she is quite a workout for me but has such a sweet nature...she would just rather not be brushed thank you very much! 😅🥰 unfortunately for Storm with such a big thick coat...brushing is a must! I didn't get a 'before' photos of her but she was definitely not white! 😅🤣

Chica had 2 seizures this morning, the first ones in a long time.....I gave her a bone afterwards to take her mind off it and keep her occupied......I wonder...did she eat it?....or did it end up somewhere else?.....nevermind...I'm sure it won't be too hard to find! 🙄🤣

Happy New Year to all of my lovely customers old and new....I appreciate every one of you bringing your best friends to me to spruce up throughout the year!

I have enjoyed a good rest with lots of walks, games and of course eating far too much! I am feeling recharged and ready for whatever 2024 has to throw at us! Chica didn't get her Christmas bath so will be getting a New Years bath tomorrow! Stinky mutt! 😅

Good morning!

Let's talk teeth! I LOVE doing teeth! It gives me a break from the norm and being a natural "picker" I just love getting these great results.

I use the Emmipet Ultrasonic teeth cleaning system which is non invasive and doesn't make a noise or vibrate so generally the dogs don't mind it at all. They just need to be happy for me to have my hands in their mouths!
It works by penetrating each tooth in turn with Ultrasonic sound waves which kill bacteria and harden the plaque to make it easier to flick off! Your dog will have a healthier mouth with fresher breath with regular sessions.

I offer teeth cleaning as a stand alone service or as an add on to your groom so just ping me a message for more details

PS...I am not a vet! Teeth cleaning is an important part of preventing dental problems in the future. You should still get your dogs teeth checked by your vet regularly.

Following a 2 week break I am extremely busy when I get back trying to play catch up. Many of my customers are choosing to book their next 2 appointments to ensure I can fit them in when they want their dog to be done. I already only have a few spaces left for my Christmas slots 🙈😅

Booking in after your groom makes things much easier and ensures you don't have to wait for weeks after your required groom slot for me to fit you in which often results in the dogs getting matted and uncomfortable while they wait

I have had alot of messages while away and will sit down on the 7th to reply to everyone I promise

After 6 days of really poorly boys and juggling work and needing to nurse them back to life, it was lovely to have the boys back to their crazy self's, (well almost, still a little less goofy than usual! 😅) And to able to get back to do what I love, transforming scruffy pups into fluffy pups 🐶 ♥️ Thank you to all my lovely customers for rejigging appointments with me and accommodating my family needs ☺️🤗 A glimpse at work life today in the video 😆
