Morning, first post for a while, big milestone, my one year anniversary 😃🎉. Had to check as it’s gone so quick, must be having too much fun. Massive thank you to all my fantastic customers who have put their faith in me, I hope I haven’t disappointed 🥰🤞. Just a few of the 100’s of pics I have of the last few months, a common theme, wet, windy and cold 🤣, not that the dogs minded, a dirty dog is a happy dog, right? Morning all, been a while since I’ve done a post, so thought I’d give a quick update. Things have gone so well. I’m exactly where I wanted to be, well ahead of schedule, busy enough to get Reg out most of the day, but still plenty of time left to spend with the family😃. Massive thank you and shout out to 2 amazing ladies who have been so kind and supportive, Emily, Domino's Pet Care and Sophie, Pip's Pals who are both just as nice in person as they have been on line🥰. Had the most fantastic day with 2 new additions, introducing Sadie and Scrapper, we’re smitten with them already 🥰 and can’t wait for tomorrow. Having soo much fun, I really am living the dream. Few pics from last week of the usual suspects plus new boy Dexter. Big shout out to Buddy who’s confidence is growing every time we walk together. It’s fantastic to see him coming out of his house with a wagging tail, a tail that was stuck between his legs for ages. 👍👊👏🐾🦮

Didn’t realise what a good week I had last week until I started going through the mountain of pics I took. Was lucky enough to have Marvin every day last week, little in size but huge in personality and just love him to bits🥰. Reg, Marv and Bailey bonded so quickly as a little group and had fantastic walks every lunchtime. Bruce, the 🦊 💩 maestro was out and he stayed clean 👍. Betsy and Daisy were out and about. Met two new characters on Tuesday, Polgara and Bruno, both absolutely adorable and love cuddles. Glad to say going to be seeing lots of them. Took Honey out or I should say she took me out 🤣, for a nice walk around Bedgrove. Had Solo for a couple of hours, he makes he laugh so much. Bruce, once I managed to catch him and put his lead on, had a couple of lovely walks around the fields. Lastly, Buddy, he’s coming on leaps and bounds, even had a little wag of his tail, getting so much more confident. Have a good week people, I will 😀👊.

Few pics from last week, very challenging with the heat. A few home visits, few trips to the woods for the shade and some trips to the water. Met Bruce, had a lovely long chat in his kitchen, before a very short walk. Found a little stream, thought he might like a little paddle, Bruce had other ideas 🤣. We’re going to get along just fine, can’t help but smile when I’m in his company. The pic of Reg on the sofa was hilarious. Was in the garden, talking about Bruce and how cool he was to Mrs Walkeys when Reg took offence and gave me side eye 🤣. Have a good week people 👊😘.

Few pics from last few days. Reg has been lucky enough to have his best mate, Stanley stay with him this week. Inseparable, they’ve had a proper catch up🥰. A big thank you to Bruce. Reg has obviously been taking notes and had his first successful 🦊 💩 roll around this week. I’m hoping it wasn’t what he thought it would be and that’s it done for now 🤞🤮. Making big progress with Buddy, couple of really positive walks, can see his confidence growing all the time. Lastly, 2 new lovely ladies started this week, Honey, who has soo much energy even Reg struggled to keep up and the stunning Bailey, who hit it off with the boys straight away. Couple of new boys coming next week, can’t wait 👊.

Been a really good week so far, a few new faces. Buddy, who’s a bit nervous, not keen on other dogs..yet. But I’m working on it and plan is for him and Reg to become friends🤞. Fudge, who just wants to play, will hopefully become a regular as long as he gave his mum good feedback. The stunning Daisy was back yesterday and brought her housemate Betsy along too. Add into that the majestic Mac. Lastly, a chance meeting with Sophie from pipspals who couldn’t have been any more welcoming. Lots of tips and advice for the new boy(me) which I’m very grateful for.

Cracking end to a fantastic week. Managed to dodge the rain. Took Mac for his first walk today. What an absolute gentleman, looking forward to us being mukkas. And then Daisy, oh Daisy. What an absolute stunner, never seen markings like it before🥰. Reg was smitten too, they walked off into the sunset together🤣🥰 🌅.

Really pleased to have Stanley and Bruce back this week. We’ve missed them both. Discovering that Bruce has this uncanny knack of sniffing out 🦊 💩from half a mile away and having a good old roll in it to celebrate 🎉. Shame we all don’t appreciate the smell as much as he does 🤢🤣.

Just a quick update. Been just over 6 weeks since I went live. Has the phone been ringing off the hook?, have I been inundated with emails and messages? The answer is unfortunately not. However the pet loving community of Aylesbury has been drip feeding me with requests of helping them to give their dogs the best life possible. I've already met some fantastic people who have put their faith in me to both walk and care for their precious dogs. I've got lots of people, both friends and family who are spreading the word for me and also some random acts of kindness which at times has left me speechless. My biggest thank you is to my trusted business partner, Reg. I already knew he was incredible but the way he has welcomed so many new friends of all shapes and sizes into his walks and into his home is incredible to see. Have a good day.

Some pics of last couple of days. Really good walk through Wendover Woods, got a bit lost, not that Reg and his new mukka Ozzy minded. Always quality time with Stanley and then the pocket rocket, aka Marvin today. Reg and Ozzy were like his minders 🤣.

We were lucky enough to walk Bruce for the first time this morning. What an absolute pleasure, looking forward to getting to know him a lot better. Then this afternoon out with the two loonies up Coombe Hill. Think Reg is already looking forward to dinner and bed 🤣. Best day yet.

Out early doors for a walk around fields in Stoke Mandeville, lovely, all be it a bit wet from yesterday. Then a walk around Tring Park with Stanley, Reggie’s best friend, out with us a couple of times a week, brother from another mother. He has the happiest tail in the world

So today is the day that I’m open for business. Been about 10 months since I had this crazy idea to give up work and become a professional dog walker, but here I am introducing Walkeys with Stu. I had a very long list of things to do before I could go live. My website being created was the last to be ticked last night, www.walkeysws.co.uk

Owner away? I walk, sit and stay. Hi and welcome to my brand new business, Walkeys with Stu. We’ve been fortunate to have had some fantastic dogs in the house over the years, to grow up with our 3 children and now our grandchildren. Reg, our 3 year old Springer Spaniel is the craziest of the lot and my determination to give him the best life has led us both on a journey of education, training and having so much fun. I’ve always had the passion and the drive but now I possess the skills and confidence to care for your 4 legged friends. Reg and I are both looking forward to meeting you and making new friends.
