The last 9 months have been an amazing time for Tiggys Tails and Trails! I can’t thank everybody enough for their perfect pooches and just being lovely 🥰
I will miss each and every one very much, this definitely won’t be the last time I see them! ❤️

Hi everybody, as all of my weekly clients know, Tiggys Tails and Trails will sadly be coming to an end on the 21st October 2021. ☹️ I have been offered my dream job at Dogs Trust as a full time Canine Carer 🐶

I cannot thank everybody enough for their support, advice, cooperation and just being lovely! I will miss all of you and seeing your furbabies’ faces. Tiggys tails and trails has been amazing for me, I’ve loved every second and meeting all of you! Every recommendation has been awesome and I’m forever thankful to all of you who made Tiggys Tails and Trails a dream come true⭐️

Until then, I will of course continue to post cute pics of my daily walks and appreciate my time spent with the pooches 🥾

Lots of controversy over this.. I agree that as long as your dog is microchipped then there is no need for a collar 24/7 unless you wanted them to.

However, to avoid fines, please can all my lovely ladies and gents make sure that their pooches are wearing a collar with a tag! 🐾❤️

Some smaller breeds need to be walked on a harness to avoid damaging their windpipes but owners must still ensure they are wearing an identifiable tag by law

Interesting day today…
•Badger met the moo moo’s again today, then we got stuck behind some swans and their babies… had to ask a lovely lady for help 😂🦢🐄
•Elsa had officially given up on our way back home from our walk today 💤
•Roxy from the westies insisted on carrying her toy on our way 🥺🧸
•anddddd to finish the day me and Loki got rained on☔️ the hot weather last week definitely threw me off this week ☀️

Please please please be sensible with your fur babies in this heat. I’m gutted I won’t be walking much this week but their welfare is my no. 1 priority.

Some good ways to help your dog stay cool in hot weather is:
☀️damp towels on the floor for them to lay on
☀️frozen meat lick mats/kongs
☀️plenty of shade and an area to cool off
☀️fresh water topped up during the day

Do NOT
❌give your dog/s ice cubes
❌take them to the beach
❌take them for a walk! A dog will not die from missing a walk but might die from a walk in the heat.

Stay safe, be sensible and don’t get burnt! 🥵

Am Interesting day weather wise but a wet walk with Badger this morning, a quick drive to Perham pitch with Elsa and a local walk with Loki where we also met some alpacas🦙🌧🐾
