One to one puppy classes in the comfort of your own home.

Positive reinforcement - Teaching valuable life skills as opposed to obedience.

Allowing your puppy to make choices & be fully involved in the training process.

We can start teaching your puppies valuable life skills from the day they step into your home, which is usually about 8-10 weeks of age.

This means you won’t need to have a full set of vaccines to start your training which can only benefit your pup.

You can choose from a one off problem solving session or a preferable 4-6 week course.

Some choose to have 4 at home training sessions with myself & then go onto a group class once their puppy is fully vaccinated. This has worked well for many of the guardians I have supported & helped.

Life skills may include recall, sit, down, drop, leave it, loose lead, wait, handling, introduction to cooperative care, touch.

Well.... We avoided the rain today and came 3rd in our first full competition at the next level up!!

We had a great time at the West Herts Working Trials UKDOGSPORTS competition 😊. We have been lucky enough to start training there in the last month, thank you Sheren Perez!!

It is brilliant fun and I would thoroughly recommend having a go with your pup!

Anyone that has met Ava, or has come to our front door, knows first hand how much and how loud she can bark! Ava laughed her head off at me when I asked her to "Speak" today, she politely declined!! Very low marks for something she usually excels at 😂

Dog training for companion pets

Have you considered doing some training with your adult dog just to teach the basics but never quite got around to it.

All dogs of any age can benefit from a 4 or 6 week course to look at food manners, rushing through doors, waiting in the car, walking loosely on a lead or jumping up at people or dogs. Rushing to get the mail!

These are some of the reasons why people need support with their adult dogs but won’t ask for support because people feel embarrassed to reach out. Teaching a dog some simple foundation behaviours and understanding how we teach them can really help to build confidence not only for you the guardian but also for your dog. It will help to build a relationship between you both when you understand how to train your dog using food, toy & environmental rewards.

This is positive reinforcement based training, one to one in the comfort of your own home, garden and outside in the world where you may be struggling with some behaviours & your not sure how to approach them,

Not dog walking related but.... Ava related 😊. I had an issue with storage on my phone (too many pics of my lovely clients 😍). Anyway I came across some action shots of Ava competing in 2023. We compete in UKDOGSPORTS and have great fun. Will try and post a link, in comments, to their page in case any of you fancy a go, it is honestly a blast of a thing to do with your dog!
