Our mission is to improve the lives of pets and their owners. We are dedicated to providing quality affordable health care with compassion. We care for your pets the same way we would want our own pets to be cared for. Our Waddesdon Aylesbury veterinary surgery is small and friendly. We like to get to know our patients and our small size helps ensure our clients see familiar faces when they visit.

Although we are small, our facilities and equipment rival and exceed many larger practices. For example, we have digital x-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy on site. We also have our own in house lab to allow rapid diagnosis, and anaesthetic monitoring equipment like used in human hospitals. We use fluid pumps for all patients requiring fluid therapy which is much safer. Separate cat and dog wards reduce stress for our patients. We operate on-site Monday- Friday in our purpose designed operating theatre. We have an experienced team of vets and veterinary nurses. Hart Vets Waddesdon was independently inspected by the RCVS last September and is accredited as a Small Animal Practice. Our veterinary hospital in Bicester is one of only 150 practices in the country that have met the stringent requirements set by the RCVS to be accredited as a Small Animal Veterinary Hospital. Our out of hours emergency service is provided by our own vets and nurses at our veterinary hospital in Bicester. 💚🐾 Doyle is a retired dog from the charity Dogs for Good - UK. As such he is very sweet and gentle boy. He recently had some investigations for his ongoing tummy troubles and was just the perfect patient! 😇

If you find a lump on your pet, you should contact us to make an appointment, even if it looks harmless. Lumps can occur for many causes, ranging from a benign wart to serious conditions like cancer.📞👨‍⚕️

🐾 Earlier this year Darcey underwent surgery to remove a large vaginal tumour. She recvovered well from the procedure but then needed follow up chemotherapy sessions. We recently celebrated her last chemo session! 🥳 Darcey was such a perfect patient throughout all her treatment and we shall miss seeing you each week! 🩷

🐾 We shall be having a team meeting today between 1pm and 3pm. We shall still be available on the phone, and open for emergencies, however if possible please avoid collecting any pre-ordered medication from the surgery during these times. Thank you! 🥰

🤎 This sweet girl is Pippa who recently had some dental treatment with us. Most cats and dogs will require dental treatment as some stage in their life, however regular teeth brushing can help to minimise this and keep the teeth and gums healthy. 🦷
