As a dog walker, we grow close to all the dogs we walk. It makes it bittersweet when you lose one of your beautiful dogs.

When a customer comes to your door to thank you for all the love you gave their pet, and shows you pictures of him when he was young and carefree, it makes you realise why you work with animals and that I definitely made the right choice leaving my 9 to 5 behind.

Trotter, have fun over rainbow bridge, you will be missed ever so dearly.

To all my wonderful clients.

As some of you may know, my mum has been unwell for some time. I am now in a position where I am going to have to become her full time carer.

I love all my dogs, so I have been in touch with the only person I know who loves animals more than me, my friend Jameela.

She has been popping out with me and meeting all my wonderful dogs in the hope she can transition in to running my small business while I can't. I will still be available for adhoc walks and covering Jameelas holidays and if there is a time when things change we will both work together.

Jameela is NVQ level 3 trained in working with animals, she is applying for her DBS and insurance will be carried over.

We are happy to arrange you meeting Jameela to make sure you are comfortable, and of course you are welcome to use another walker if you wish, but all my dogs I walk are very dear to me so it would be sad to see them go.

Over the next few weeks jameela will be slowly taking over.

There may be a few changes in terms of banking details and so on, but apart from that nothing will change.

Thank you for trusting me this far with your best friends, it really has been a pleasure getting to know every single one of them and I am truly gutted I have to step away, even if it isn't forever.

If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a message.

I will be working with Precious Paws until 31st July to make the transition easier all round, but my hours may have to slow down due to my mum needing me more than ever.
