Akeman Windswept

First little dressage outing for Sweep. A little overwhelming for her but she did everything we asked scoring 60.6%
We were deducted 2 marks for no noseband, me not realising that it’s BD rules that you must were a noseband. All the young horses are backed without one to help with relaxation and Sweep has always been so happy without one I didn’t think it would be an issue. I know rules are rules but I’m still struggling to get my head around this and find it ludicrous that you have to wear one these days 🤷‍♀️
Really nice to of bred (with Sally Burborough ) backed and started to produce an Akeman baby!

4 year old registered Connemara mare.
Standing 14.1 to make 14.2, with lots of filling out to do.
Very lightly backed, super sweet little horse to do in everyway. Has had adults and children ride her.
Very bold, now needs someone to take her on further.
Hacks alone and in company off road.
Has had laminitis so needs someone that is knowledgable to manage this.
