Good morning everyone!

We are always on the lookout for dedicated foster carers, to take in our gorgeous animals needing some TLC before they go to their forever home.

In particular, we are still looking for rabbit foster carers who could take some bunnies into their home (bunnies will need to be kept indoors mainly in the colder weather, with access to garden time or a larger space indoors to have a good roam around). However, now that the weather is picking up, we can provide a hutch and run for bunnies to be outside. Your garden will need to have sufficient space for this.

We are also always looking for cat foster carers. We accept homes with children, cat friendly dogs and cat friendly cats (subject to vaccinations being up to date).

All equipment and fees will be covered by the rescue. If you can help please drop us a message or email. We would love to hear from you! If you can’t help then please do share our post 🩷

All foster carers will need to complete an application form and pass a home check, as well as agreeing to adhere to our foster rules.

“Truffle's had a fab week, it's like she's always been here 💕 Great bonding starting to form with our dog, she really likes him and she made the decision to meet him much sooner than we intended, but they are absolutely fine. She's a real character, is definitely the boss of the house! Very affectionate and makes the most wonderful purring sounds. Thank you so much!!”

Update - ✨A visit has been booked for Evie✨

As far as first impressions go, I make a terrible one. I’m super duper shy and timid- hey, you can’t blame me, I’ve only ever had one owner my whole life!

Once I adapt and adjust and know I’m safe, I’m a different little lady. I like fuss and affection, but on my terms. I’m a massive fan of tuna so please make sure you’re fully stocked before bringing me home.

The perfect home for me, would be quiet, with no loud youngsters, and a forever human that knows I’ll need time to adjust. Someone who won’t push me to be anyone other than, well, me ♥️

🐈 I don’t mind sharing with a calm cat. No rowdy young’uns though!
🐕 I’m just too shy and anxious for a pooch friend.
👧🏻 I’m more comfortable with kids over 10 years.
🏡 Due to my breed; I must be an indoor only cat.

Could you be my safe space?

In my short two years of life all I’ve known is torment and man handling 😣 I need a safe space that can show me what love really is.

I’m not easy to love and I’m not for the faint hearted, but I promise, the time and care you put into me, I’ll give you back threefold. I’m a love bug at heart, and love nothing more than snuggling on you, I’ll even follow you to the bathroom for toilet time snugs!

I need someone who will understand that I need time, I need patience and I need so much love to make up for the last two years.

👧🏻 My ptsd stems from kids. I need an adult only household please
🌳 I’m too scared of loud noises to be let outside just yet. But who knows, maybe in time, this could be something for me.

Inca is an affectionate, friendly young girl who loves to be right by her favourite humans side.

She is very playful so, we feel as though she would benefit from a cat buddy to release her kitty cat energy with!

🐈‍⬛ Inca would love to find a home with a cat friend!

Meet Belle.

Belle will need a very special home, with someone who is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to become ‘her’. ♥️

Belle was found outside roaming the streets with her friend when they were just a few months old. Fending for themselves and having to protect themselves at such a young age, must have been petrifying.


Unfortunately, when Belle and her friend got taken in by the vets, the friend was so poorly that she had to make her journey over the rainbow bridge 🌈 🕊️

& that is when Belle made her way to us here at Mini Beasts Rescue.

Belle is quite jumpy and scared of sudden loud noises so she would need a quieter home.

Belle does like affection, on her own terms. We do think this is something that can be worked on with the right person. She prefers strokes and fuss when she is sleepy or relaxing but does need to be approached slowly or she may get scared.

🐈 Belle can live with other cats with the correct introduction

🐕 No dogs for Belle please

👧🏼 Belle can live with late teens.

🌳 Belle would like outdoor access please. However, she will need an extended settling in period before being allowed outside, to allow her to feel secure in her new surroundings first.

A love bug by day, a love bug by night; Nancy just wants to be loved by her humans.
Her gentle presence is a reminder of how utterly awesome cats can be.

Nancy is little shy, but she does come out of her shell pretty quickly after some fuss and some food! You will have her rolling around looking for cuddles in no time!

🐈 Can live with other cats
👧🏻 Can live with cat savvy kids
🐕 Given time she may be ok with a calm, older dog
🌳 Nancy would be happy either as an indoor cat or have access to the outside.

❣️x2 URGENT FOSTER HOMES NEEDED, PLEASE READ!❣️

Do you have a spare room in your home that you could open up to help with the rehabilitation of one of the kittens pictured below?

A special home is needed with an experienced carer for Nugget (Black & White) and Waffle (Ginger). They were rescued from the big wide world, after having to fend for themselves the first 4 months of their lives.
Waffle also had to do this while navigating life with just 3 legs and Nugget suffering months of pain with an ulcerated eye.

Nugget is getting used to love and will come up to you.
Waffle is still very nervous and needs lots of rehabilitation to learn that he can trust humans.

Points to consider before applying to foster -

- Both Nugget and Waffle will need a quiet foster home with adult only.
- They are semi-feral so will need somebody who is experienced with dealing with this and is up to date with their tetanus jab, or will be prior to fostering.
- ⁠Nugget will need eye drops 3x daily (provided by us) but, to do this she will need to be wrapped in a blanket or towel for her to tolerate.

Everything you need will be supplied by us here at Mini Beasts, absolutely no cost to you.

Truffle loves nothing more than exploring his enclosure and making the most incredible tunnels! He has such a great character and is absolutely fascinating to watch.

Truffle’s personality has really started to shine since being with us here at Mini Beasts, and he absolutely adores listening to the voices of his fosterers when they talk to him 🥰

Truffle will need to live alone with lots of enrichment. We understand that, due to his age, he may not appeal to many. However, please remember that every animal deserves a forever home and Truffle really is a wonderful little gerbil. ♥️

Dislikes: not getting treats, not getting cuddles.

🐕 Doggies don’t offer the right kind of cuddles so that’s a no!

Bruce by name, absolute melt by nature!

Meet Brucey, he might look confident but this lad is as shy as anything! Once Bruce trusts you, you’ll have his loyalty for life 👊🏼 Bruce looks for a quieter home; happy to share with another cat, but not with loud tiny humans or doggies.

Bribery will get you everywhere with B-Man - dreamies or ham are his faves 🤤 Bruce loves a fuss and sharing your bed and sofa; he really does make the best fur baby.

🐈 Can live with one other cat
👧🏻 Bruce would benefit from a quieter, adult only home or one with older children (15+)
🐕 Dogs are an absolute no go for this lad
🌳 Big boy Bruce would love access to the great outdoors but he’s just as happy living it up inside with his fave human
