9 years ago today I decided to take a leap of faith and follow my heart and dreams and start up my own dog walking business. This happened after having my own first ever dog Thunder followed by his little sister Luna.
( my whole world ) I started off walking 1 or two dogs a week. It wasn’t long before I was fully booked all day every day!!!!
Never before in my life had I ever woken up excited for my working day. Always thought of an excuse as to not to go to work. But 9 years on I still wake up every day eager to see all those excited faces and waggy tails. Even when I’ve been through my darkest days, my job and all the dogs I’ve walked throughout the years have kept me going. Along with the amazing owners who have not only become friends but surrogate family!!
I truly believe I am so blessed to have such a rewarding job. Where I get to spend my days outside in the fresh air with my four legged best friends . ( mostly rain and mud at the moment but summer does appear for a short while lol )
Yes it’s hard work, taking care of someone else’s family member(s), keeping them safe, making sure they have fun, don’t get into trouble, spotting any ailments etc but most of all loving every single one of them as if they are my own!!!!
I just want to say a massive thank you for all my dogs past, present and those who have sadly crossed that rainbow bridge. You make every single day special for me and without every single one of you none of this would be possible. I love each and every one of you with all my heart 💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾

So today I had the privilege of walking this gorgeous boy. It’s been years since I’ve walked Scruffy. He’s a lot older now and deaf but that didn’t stop us having a lovely walk together and he was strutting his stuff like old times. Love you Scruffy 💜🐾

I got to walk my handsome boy Cato yesterday. I hadn’t seen him in months as he now goes to work with his dad. I have missed him terribly and from his reaction when I walked in the house I think he’d missed me too. I just love this big gentle soul. 💜🐾

This is the size the stick ended up! It was so small that when I threw it for him the wind took it and it flew into the hedge. But he was determined to get it out and he finally did. The look on his face shows how very proud of himself he was 🤣🤣💜🐾
