Job Vacancies x2

Two new positions are being created at JRG

Both part time 17 hours per week plus overtime where required.

We can be flexible on hours and days
(and can accommodate school hours if needed for the right person)

Basic duties in shop and yard.

Serving customers, cleaning, stock rotation, fast paced environment with busy incoming and ongoing deliveries.

An understanding of epos systems and accounting systems is advantageous, but full training will be given.

A passion for animals is a must!

Please note that this position will involve lifting numerous 20kg sacks each day.

For those who may not know….

We do on site metal blade sharpening and also we offer clipper services too.

If you are looking to get your blades sharpened it’s a very easy process:

Drop your blades off to a jrg team member

We will sharpen them while you wait / have a look around the shop

Then will give them back all freshly sharpened Ready to go.

For those dropping of mass amounts of sets or are in a rush, we will sharpen them all and give you a call when finished 🙂

For people after their Clipper services, clippers will get sent out every Wednesday and returned the following Wednesday, you will receive a call from us when they are ready to collect 😃

Blades sharpening £8.50 per set
Clipper service £35 ( added cost if wanting repairs ect)

Due to a family bereavement we will be closed on Wednesday 3rd April from 2.00pm for the remainder of the day, so staff can attend and pay their respects at the funeral, will reopen as normal Thursday 9am.

Bank Holiday Upcoming!!

As the March- April Bank holiday is soon upon us, here is an update on our opening times.

Friday 29th - CLOSED
Saturday 30th - OPEN 9am-4pm
Sunday 31st - CLOSED
Monday 1st April - CLOSED
Tuesday 2nd April - OPEN

Please consider due to the shop being closed on Friday we will lose a days deliveries next week! Things are expected to get busy so If you will be wanting a delivery for next week we advise you to give as much notice as you can.

We will try our very best to get all the deliveries out to our customers ✅

WE LOVE RAW UPDATE!!

We have just received our delivery from We Love Raw and now have back instock almost every flavour in burgers and boxes!

We have a fair bit of stock now 👍

We have Some flavours more then others, no need to panic if your preferred flavour is out of stock as loads of alternatives and we are now back up to regular deliveries!!

Worm egg counts are ready to begin!😁😁

🐴 Attention horse customers 🐴
We have been approached to consider us being able to provide immediate on site or immediate in store Egg Worm Counts - results within 10mins of taking the sample.
We are just wondering if it would interest anyone?
We currently offer egg worm testing but these need sending off for analysis and results within 48 hours.
As you know we supply equine wormers, so the new option would be an immediate egg worm result and a worming product in your hand, if required, within ten minutes! At the yard if required.
All testing would be carried out by one of our SQPs
The cost would be around £10 per sample
What’s everyone’s thoughts please??? 💁‍♂️

***Update on delivery of We Love Raw products***
After the factory move We Love Raw are starting to produce stock now and they have now made contact with us and said we will receive a bulk delivery early part of next week, not this week as previously said to us. Unfortunately this means a few more days to wait! Once stock has arrived we will let you know ASAP! They apologise for any inconvenience caused. We have plenty of alternative products here so please ask!
