Some of the amazing winning dogs from our inaugural ‘Cuddington Cup’ Companion Dog Show. We had an amazing day with many beautiful dogs and their owners taking part in glorious sunshine and raised £405 for Aylesbury Foodbank. Many thanks to everyone who lent a hand of course our KC judges Sara Nixon and Stephanie Presdee, our ring official Polly who worked tirelessly, everyone who helped out with the set up and take down and of course our Cuddington Sports Club staff. We are also extremely grateful for everyone who sponsored the event and donated raffle prizes. We will be doing it again next year, date to follow.

Meet Kira the 15 month rescue shepherd from Dogs Trust our first session involved encouraging engagement through reward based drills and just look at the difference. Issues we’re facing are fairly hot dog aggression, hyper vigilance and general reactivity as well as the usual lead pulling, I’m late to the party with Kira but feeling privileged to now be training this beautiful girl…… #dogtraining #dogtrainer

Working on heeling with Chris and his GSP Marco who’s bred to be working out in front of his handler creating a challenge when it comes to loose lead walking to heel. He’s a high prey driven lad and a runner so the long line is ‘on’ at this stage until we prove out his recall. Chris is doing really well with becoming the centre of attention for Marco learning to use frequent rewards, his voice and body language to reduce Marco’s drive to be off hunting all of the time…..
