Saké started her Gold training programme today, helping her around other dogs. Worked on foundation behaviours today - hand touch, emergency U turn and find it. Such a friendly dog, and bright as a button. Let’s see how she copes with a stooge dog at distance next week.
Little bit of training today with Phoebe and Stanley, working on some memories (delayed marks) and some stops at distance too. These dummies was placed out at the beginning of our session, and they both remembered where it was an hour later. 👏👏

Love it when the park cuts beautiful grid lines for us to do some training. Here Stanley is doing a lovely blind retrieve over the brow of the hill. Lots of long grass for hunting exercises too. 🎉

Ben has been working hard on his loose lead walking with his lovely new harness. Look how beautifully he walked down the road. We also covered whistle recall, and hand touch and middle too. Top marks Ben, you were a star today! 🤩🥳
Some jumping practice today on our walk. My dogs have had their hip and elbows are X-rayed & scored to make sure that they haven’t got dysplasia. Stanley loves jumping!
Great first visit for Scruffbag to Manor Park. He loved having a good mooch and sniff and we worked on him checking back in when he saw dogs running around. Also some loose lead walking practice. He even had a little paddle in the river. Well done Scruffbag. 🤩
Have you got an emergency recall word? I use the word TREAT and practice this for at least one recall on a walK. Today we are using a jar of salmon paste as the reward but you can use a special toy too. 🚀
Some free time to do some training with Stanley. 2 minute sit stay, memory retrieves cutting the corner of the reservoir, and another along a path ignoring a dummy in the water. Ended with a long memory with stop half way to hunt for a ball.

Recall training with Bingo today. He loves a Tug-e-Nuff sheepskin tuggie toy as his reward for a supersonic recall. 🎉🎉
