Karma Dogs is run by Ally, an APDT and IMDT accredited dog trainer. She offers bespoke, one to one training tailored around your needs and practiced in the real world using reward based techniques. Ally can help you with your new puppy, your rehomed dog, your adult dog or your working gundog.

2025 and Karma Dogs is back! Today I had the pleasure of working with this wonderful lad, Blue the Border Terrier. We discovered he loves other dogs and gets quite vocal when he wants to play with them. Giving him some homework, and looking forward to working with him again. 😍

Met Tiki this morning, starting her puppy foundation training. She quickly learnt the hand touch, and that 4 paws on the floor got rewarded. Set her up with a puppy pen to help her with her around the youngster in the house, and played tug and drop. She is a bright, lively and very trainable little lass. ❤️

Saké started her Gold training programme today, helping her around other dogs. Worked on foundation behaviours today - hand touch, emergency U turn and find it. Such a friendly dog, and bright as a button. Let’s see how she copes with a stooge dog at distance next week.

Little bit of training today with Phoebe and Stanley, working on some memories (delayed marks) and some stops at distance too. These dummies was placed out at the beginning of our session, and they both remembered where it was an hour later. 👏👏

Our Story

Karma Dogs aims to help people gain a better relationship with their dogs. Ally is an accredited dog trainer with a passion for helping dog owners and their dogs. She has been training her dogs for over 8 years, and has developed a passion for gundog training. In 2017 she was awarded Full Membership to the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and in 2018 was assessed by The Association of Pet Dog Trainers and was awarded full membership (APDT membership number 01363). She continues to attend a wide range of seminars and courses and in her spare time loves to work and compete with her own dogs, and has won a number of working test awards.
