Thank you to those that have attended the breed appreciation day today organised by the The Japanese Shiba Inu Club of Great Britain and Thank you for observing two minutes silence.

The Japanese Shiba Inu Club of Great Britain is pleased to host the third 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘 (𝐁𝐀𝐃 & 𝐌𝐂𝐄) for the Japanese Shiba Inu.

To be held on Sunday 12th November 2023 presented by Liz Dunhill.

As required by the Kennel Club to progress as a KC judge for the Japanese Shiba Inu from Level 1 - Level 2 as part of the JEP Judges Education Program.

There will be an in depth breed seminar with PowerPoint and live dogs to be held before MCE. After MCE we have hands-on assessment/group mentoring.

All Candidates will leave with a bound copy of the comprehensive extended breed standard!

Here are the people who made the first ever SHIBA FEST such an incredible success. The committee of the The Japanese Shiba Inu Club of Great Britain Karen Jones, Liz Dunhill, Kayleigh Parkinson, Leigh Curtis, Michaella Dunhill-Hall, Jean Cooper.. Michael Needs & Joseph Michael Woolmer our resident 'Chefs' head of catering. Shiba friends Lorraine Sylvester, Claire & Karoline Andrews. Fanciers & enthusiasts alike! Standholders Marie Bryans, Chloe Bryans, Alice Bryans. Shiba Inu Rescue UK Janice Bannister. Our resident photographer Shide Liddell. The first judges for our special event Isaac Preddy & Karen Rodgers.

There was a grand total of 96 dogs that attended & entered the 2023 Shiba Fest!! All breed, novelty & activity classes went as smoothly as we could have dreamed...our grooming demo was a huge success sponsered by .com Our Shiba 'meet the breed' stand where all questions were well received by our breed experts. Shiba Fest branded merchandise was a massive success, we would like to thank all who made pre-orders that collected orders at the show & additional orders on the day all provided by Deeside Deeside Embroidery

Overall today was an outstanding success!! We hope to make Shiba Fest even bigger & better next year! THANK YOU ALL XX
