Ho Ho Ho 🎅

Apparently Xmas is on its way

As most of you are probably aware our Xmas bookings were taken by June this year and lots have already booked for Xmas next year 😱

So after lots of juggling around, I’ve now got to be a grinch and tell you all that we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING available from now until mid January 2023 🙈

We are however starting to compile a cancellation list. So for the lucky ones out there that have an appointment please keep to it or if you need to cancel let us know so that we can accommodate those on the naughty or nice list

Those who do not have an appointment and would like one please let us know. I don’t have any elves helping me, so it will be a first come, first served basis

Hi guys and gals !

We know we’ve been quiet on social media for a while but we’ve still been busy beautifying your 4 legged friends.

We post today with news of our decision which hasn’t come easy to us 😢

As you are all well aware costs of everything is on the rise especially gas and electricity and consumables ( particularly shampoo!)

Due to these rising costs we have no choice but to put an increase on all of our services in order to keep the shop going and deliver the same standard of care for your dogs.

All the prices of our equipment has gone up too - blades scissors sprays shampoos - all the things that we need in order to give your guys a groom even the price of sharpening our tools have gone up 😱🙈

We’ve always run our business on the morals and ethics that if you know us that a good service and experience is very close to our hearts.

So even though we haven’t increased our prices for 5 years - the time has come where our arms have been forced and can no longer take the hit of rising costs alone, which now means I have to increase my costs onto you guys 😢.

We know it’s crap and trust us we feel your shock/anger/concern, but if we don’t do it the worry is there that we won’t be able to continue grooming.

So without sounding like a charity advert - our increase will be an additional £2 per dog to your groom as of the 1st April 2022.

We will say this however - if and when the world decides to stop being crazy and prices come down - so will ours. 🤞🏻

We hope you understand that we are doing this with a heavy heart and hope you understand why we’ve had to make this decision.

We hope you still love us 🙈

Hi everyone !

Sorry but I’m going to have a Monday rant 🙈

If you know you can’t make your appointment - please please PLEASE have the decency to let us know that you’re not attending - whether it’s a call a text a WhatsApp or via our page.

By not letting us know you run the risk of receiving a £10 fine and a mark against your name. We have a 3 strike rule at Rayners Groomers.

We have a waiting list of clients who are desperate to have their dogs done before they become a welfare issue.

We are not monsters and going to tell you off, we understand that life happens and things crop up but if you’ve made an appointment in the salon you would have received an appointment card and probably put it in the calendar on your phone and or home. We also send a courtesy message to make sure you are attending. So to not be told you don’t intend keeping your appointment it becomes frustrating not only for us but also the people waiting and ultimately you as you have to wait to rebook.

Be kind. Be courteous. Be respectful.

Hi guys !

If you have got an appointment booked with us in this hot weather - please to prevent having to walk your little one on a hot pavement you can always just pull up outside the salon and we will come out and lift them in to prevent any pavement paw burns.

PLEASE leave me at home. It's not nice for me to run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. And so I run beside you, stand still if I must. And feel my paws burn. I look at you for a moment, but you don't understand. In 5 minutes, we will be at the cool puddle, right? But those 5 little minutes can now just be fatal for me. I sweat through my Tongue and feet
and this heat I just can't reach it the puddle in time
I cook from the inside, but I keep going.....
And so I end up on the asphalt. In the heat and in the sun. With my tongue out of my mouth and my eyes blinking in the sun.
My feet burned my tongue dry and my head pounding from the heat that my body can't get rid of the heat
Don't brand the paw print!
Let your dog enjoy the sun, at home with a large bowl of water, a place in the shade. And best of all, preferably a cool patch of grass.

Hi peeps. I know it’s the summer and holiday time but please just remember the sun and the heat is not good news for everyone. Be sensible and think of your fur babies please xx

Makes us mad seeing this is this weather ! If you’re determined to do this then put on a winter coat and walk barefoot ! See how you feel about it ! 😤
