🐾 Announcement 🐾

As most of you will be aware I have not been taking bookings for a little while due to health issues. I am now in a position to offer 1:1 and 2:1 walks again to my regular clients as well as new. Should groups walks be something you would like for your pooch please feel free to direct message to discuss this.
Due to changes with legislation I have to consider large breed dogs and the safety of the public by following the new terms set out by my insurer.
This would mean I can still continue to walk large breeds although restricts to muzzled walks for “banned breed”. Any client who falls into this category has now been updated on these terms.
If I have missed anyone please feel free to contact me for further information.

Covering Ayr and surrounding with plan to cover KA1 and KA3 postcodes soon.

Yesterday we opted for a walk down Dunure Shore/castle, it is so peaceful and clean all around. We unfortunately forgot the phone to take picture of us splashing in the sea so here’s one of Eddys car selfies 🚤🌊

A common misconception about fearful dogs is that they will get “used to” things, either by active or passive overexposure to the scary stimuli or by using variations of coercion. Just as humans don’t “get used to their phobias in these ways, dogs don't either and there will be long term consequences from their experiences.

Dogs need to feel safe and listened to.

Needing a foster home for a lurcher 😔

Big shug hasn’t had the best of times lately!

12 months old last week!

First home he was at from a pup till a few weeks ago, however that never worked due to persistent issues with him redirecting behaviours towards his owner!

He has been trained by me now with methods in place to prevent behaviours happening in future, however, new owner has now downed tools and not practicing his training and has regressed!

Don’t want to use the old fear mongering heart wrenching term of being him being PTS

But this is exactly what is going to happen if we don’t manage to find him a foster home!!

Male only home, only tends to redirect towards women 😔

I know this is such a big ask but big man needs help! ‼️‼️
