❌SOLD ❌ 🦁 One not for the faint hearted 🦁 On behalf of our client we are delighted to bring to you the fabulous ''Bea'' 🐝 Bea is a 15.1hh turbo cob who is looking for a specific home who for the right person is going to have a lot of fun. Bea is 16 going on 6 she's loves to work and has a spring in her step the entire time you ride her. Having been in a family home in Ireland for many years as a complete allrounder come turbo cob she's bold, brave and done everything there is to do when you're a horse. She's no stranger to the hunt field, cross country, hacking, showjumping & even the odd bit of showing. 🐎 Bea has recently returned to work after having a good few years off being a mummy at a well known stud down south. For this reason she's being sold very much as a work in progress. She schools beautifully 80% of the time and would absolutely thrive in the show ring. The other 20% she can be joggy bouncy and eager to get forward. She really jumps and absolutely LOVES it. Great news, she will jump absolutely anything you point her to. Bad news she enjoys doing so at a gallop so would need a lot of work and patience to get her calm and steady. Hacking wise she will go alone and in company and will pass all sorts of cars/vans/tractors etc she is looky but not spooky. Bea will make a confident experienced rider a superb allrounder to go out and literally do anything on. She's a really sweet mare that although can be fizzy and excitable just wants to have a bit of fun and is eager to please. On the ground she's a sweetheart with great manners and easy to do. ❌Sold ❌ Hunter out and about today, proving just how bold and brave he is 💙 Hunter is currently in with us on a sales livery basis and is looking for a new home where ideally he'd be out hacking/hunting and thundering through fields regularly 🐎 Not much phases this boy on the roads, having hacked & hunted all his days he's seen the world & knows what to expect A forward going fun chap with manners to die for and simply the best nature we are sure he'll make someone a best friend 💞

We've been busy busy the last few weeks working away on breakers/schoolers and sales liveries 🐎 We are already onto our 4th breaker/schooler of the year which wouldn't be possible without the help of our team 💖 Rachel's been part of team Meadowhead since the day and hour we opened and has recently been riding out a lot more on clients horses as a second test dummy before ensuring they are ready for home 🏡 Here we have Rachel Hadley riding the lovely 'Fiadh' the 5yr old Irish draught mare who has been here for the last few weeks on breaking livery 🥰 Not long until we wave goodbye to 'Fiadh' but for just now I think Rachel has a new yard favourite

Our first breaker of the year making good use of our lunge pen 🥰 We love using this area to get to know new horses, get them moving with tack on and lunging/long reining for the first time in a safe controlled environment 🤩 This lovely lady arrived with us 2 days ago how smart is she 🤓

🥳 It's a wrap 🥳 Huge Thankyou to all our lovely clients, customers and friends who have sent us their wonderful horses and ponies to be broken, schooled & produced this year. We have had over 30 horses in and away all doing the jobs their owners were looking for. We will now have a few days rest as we waved our last schooling livery off today and look forward to welcoming new arrivals on the 3rd of January 🥰 Here's a small selection of some of the horses we have had along with what their owners have to say about us 💕 Please feel free to contact us regarding services for 2024. ✈️ Faith ✈️

❌ Sold ❌ On behalf of her owner we are excited to offer the lovely 'Faith' to a new home. 🏡 This absolutely stunning 15.2hh 7yr old Irish mare is sure to turn heads. With a background in hunting/cross country/jump cross this mare is the definition of bold. She's currently jumping round courses of a meter with scope and desire for much more. Schools nicely in all 3 paces with a really look at me movement. Hacks alone and in company and I can honestly say she's never batted an eyelid at anything. A pleasure to work with on the ground in every way with absolutely no known vices. Easy to load, travel, bath, clip, etc etc Happy to be out herself or with others. Will stable alone or in company a truly easy mare with impeccable manners. Faith is a forward going powerful girl with the heart of a lion who's looking for an equally keen and confident rider to become a horse of a lifetime. There is no fence too big or too scary for this girl, she's as honest as they come and would love to get back out to the hunting/cross country field with the right rider. That being said she's a forward mare whos keen to get going and wouldn't suit a nervous or novice jockey. She flew through a 5 stage vetting last week which can be provided. 👋🏼 The lovely Lola leaving as the sun sets 👋🏼 Lola arrived 2 weeks ago for sales livery after our initial assessment she was advertised a week later with her first viewers booked in for Sunday. Of course first to see fell in love with this beautiful girl, she was vetted yesterday and left today for what looks to be a forever home for her 🥰 Lola came from a family home where she was the apple of their eye and totally spoiled having been there since she was 9 months old so a great family home was the absolute priority for them. 🤍🧡 Harry 🧡🤍

❌ Sold ❌ We are sad to say our long term livery "Harry" is now being offered for sale to the right home 🏡 Harry is a 14.3hh 6yr old coloured gelding. This stunning young man has already won plenty in the show ring and I have no doubt he will go on to win a lot more. Harry is what we would call a 'Turbo' cob, he's a chunky monkey but he has an incredible about of scope and talent making him ideal for a more competitive lifestyle. Harry has been professionally schooled in the past and rides very well in all 3 paces, with a natural head carriage, balanced canter and great transitions. Harry hacks both alone and in company and although may have the odd spook at something silly he enjoys his hacking and is happy to pass cars/vans/bikes/etc. Having recently started his jumping career, scope is not something this boy lacks. Happily loose jumped 1.15cm clearing it by a frightening amount. Popping round courses at home and at shows and showing an incredible amount of talent. Although he hasn't done masses for his age Harry has been on numerous outings to the beach, eglington, local shows, arena hires, clear rounds etc and has always behaved impeccably. A dream to load and travel, will stand and munch his hay while you get organised and doesn't get stressy or impatient. A good doer, well mannered, comes to call, bare foot, fat on fresh air type. Although this boy is incredible in so many ways Harry can nervous on the ground towards vets/dentists/clipping so would need someone with a kind sympathetic but experienced approach towards this. Never too young to help bring the horses in Nicola McHardy

🐴 Lots of happy horses and owners here yesterday. Three of our lovely liveries explored the forestry and found a “short” 2 hour loop round the smaller part of the forestry 🤣 April our clients young mare that’s in for breaking had her first go in the outdoor, loving the wind in her mane as she had her first canter foot perfect 💕 Lastly my own Casino jumped a fab round for double clear and 5th in the 1.10cm at Morris. Happy owners and happy horses all round 🐴

Third day under saddle and first time in the school. So nice to break and produce such a lovely mare with a bright future ahead of her, she’s certainly a quick learner 💕🐴

And we are off 🐴💕 First day under saddle for young April. She loves being out and about and was delighted to be able to show her horsey friends in the field what she can do now 🤣 We are now full for schooling/backing and breaking but will have another space available at the end of the month. #sponsoredbykensington Kensington Equestrian
