It’s so hard to get our heads around that we made this huge, mind blowing leap a year ago this week.
Had we known that Steve was going to have another heart attack would we have done it? Possibly not!!
But that’s not how life works. And we, and you guys, have adjusted so that after a really hard few months, we have finally found work/ life balance by having our Mondays off.
We wouldn’t still be here without you (largely because of the business rates 🤣)
So thank you 😘

Steve and Jim are on their way back with a van full of Yorkshire Raw to get the freezers filled back up 🙂
So….this bad boy is running constantly - not so much for us humans, it’s to keep our freezers happy!
I cannot stress enough that, just at the moment, the shop is not a place to bring your dogs for a visit.
We have plenty of cool water BUT
The air temperature is too high for us and we can sweat to cool down - they can’t
The pavement outside was 59 degrees yesterday and was warm enough that a pallet truck sank into it
The fan is very noisy and the dogs who have come in were wary of it
Leave them at home today please 🙏

I just wanted to let you see why occasionally we have to close off delivery runs a bit early.
These are Jim’s drops for today and Steve is going back out at 4pm with the local run which is still to load later.
It’s a massive help to us if you can get orders in as soon as possible 🙏

So, so impressed with these new 500g packs from Totally Natural.
Yes, at £1.40 they are more expensive by weight than the 1kg packs but I wouldn’t even class them as the same product!! The chunky texture is amazing and allows you to use just as much as you need, cutting down on prep time and refreezing.
This is a total game changer for smaller dogs and makes DIY raw so much more accessible 😀
