All the girls and boys would like to say thank you for the gifts they received through the post yesterday, they all massively enjoyed their toys and even the box has been put to use as a cardboard castle for the resident girls!❤

Hi everyone, we are pleased to say that Humbug had a successful dental correction yesterday. She is recuperating with a volunteer to recieve the best care and so she can be observed to check if this is going to be a long term problem or not. Happy Humbug!!!

In case you had forgotten the golf Open is happening in Troon very soon.
We expect travel on the M77, A77 and A78 to be a nightmare. Trains will probably be affected too.
So if you're coming to the centre for a visit, bonding, adopting, dropping piggies off for holidays, or picking them up again, please allow extra time for your journey here and plan accordingly

Most day's we do have enquiries about adopting piggies, which is amazing . Some are looking for 1 to bond with their own, other's are first-time adoptees.

Before filling out our form, please double check your piggy housing sizes. We have a minimum size for a reason, and this minimum size is on 1 level, not over 2. Nor does it include a run they occasionally have access to.

Piggies that usually have more space doesn't mean they always do. We also can't rely on a promise to upgrade. All upgrades to our minimum size must be done prior.

Piggies need and love space. Imagine yourself being stuck in a bathroom for the rest of your life with someone you usually, but not always, get on with.

So please do your homework and double check you have the correct size housing prior to adopting.
It's all there, but if you're still unsure send a wee message to the page and we can point you in the right direction prior.

Piggies aren't always cheap to keep, nor are they easy pets. They can require a lot attention to keep them in good health.

So please do your homework. The wee souls can live a long life, so let them enjoy it ♥️♥️♥️

Its looking like a wondergul fan is going to be giving these boys a fantastic retirement place!! Thank you so much for caring!!

We're dedicating this post to four lovely old boys that need some of the love our rescued piggies have had! Here are two pairs of lovely old gentlemen. Marlo and Arlo and Oxo and Bisto! They are on the look out for a peaceful retirement in the sun. We would love to find them special folk to care for them in their dotage. People who understand and have had experience of old male piggies and their special requirements. Is there anybody out there who would be able to give them a wonderful retirement space filled with love, cuddles and snacks? They are all so sweet, love being up for cuddles and chin scratches ❤️

Hi everyone, the time has come for the last month's of the calendar competition.
This time, we are looking for November and December themes.

Fireworks & Christmas seem like a great plan!!

This will be the last pictures to be judged for 2 years as we are devising a special decade calendar for 2026.

Remember this wee girl, whom we named Gail?
She came in with her day old babies, along with her daughter (4 mths approx), who had her babies to the same dad a few days later?
Well, Gail was still with the dad when she gave birth prior to coming in and is now heavily pregnant with another litter 😞.
One day, we hope people will learn how to be responsible 😞. Poor wee soul is now coming to the final weeks of her 4th pregnancy and she's only a youngster herself.

Sometimes I wish people would leave the breeding to those that know what they are doing ....😞

Morning everyone
It's coming to that marvellous time when everyone is booking to head off to the sun 🌞
Our holiday spaces are almost full, so if you're needing a space, please get n touch as soon as and we will check those dates.
Our minimum donation of 35 will stay the same, as it has done for years now, but nail trims and groom will be an extra 5 per piggy if you'd like that done as well (not everyone does).
Drop offs and pick ups are between 10 and 12 (Monday to saturday) unless otherwise arranged.
If for any reason you have to cancel, please get in touch as soon as you can

Just look at these lovely ladies with their babies. Born nearly 3 weeks ago, so, the boys will be heading off upstairs to be fostered by our resident "dads" until they are ready for bonding! The girls will stay together with their mums for a few more weeks.

So this morning the TBH girls pen was looking so boring. Got my act together and added more fun with different textures for their feet, different hay to taste and a variety of hiding places. Also put 3 new girls in, to learn about herd life. The next post will show you them all getting to enjoy the space. Enrichment is fun for piggies!!

Hard to believe its time for another pile of hay! 😱
Tomorrow we will have over 100 packs coming, so to raise funds to help pay for it, we have some amazing items to sell if anyone would like any.
All pennies raised will be going towards the hay bill this week.

We have some amazing hand made piggy scrunchies, perfect for your little princess and of course us ladies (and men!), plus some knitted crochet and knitted piggies all looking for their new homes ♥️♥️

Today we celebrate the birthday of one of our amazing volunteers 😀 Amy turns the grand old age of 18!!! Sadly Amy will also be leaving us today to head off to university. So we will be celebrating her year's here with us. Amy started here a few years ago after loosing her own beloved piggies. Over the years the addiction to piggies didn't stop and ended up adopting some of our girls and taking on some of our residents! Over the years we have all laughed and cried. The antics she got up to set us all in stitches!! Her first day here we asked her to trim some nails. 1 1/2 hours later she was still at the same piggy 😂 so today, on her last day we will see how welll she has improved and get her to trim some more!! She will be sorely missed here by us and the piggies, but she has said she will visit as often as she can. Have a wonderful birthday Amy 😍😍
