Wow, weve had some response to this post. We never knew there was such a large collection of lonely lads out there. The boys coming in to us will be at the rescue for two weeks for health checks before we can start bonding appointments. So bear with us while we get all your paperwork and photos ready.

Good morning everyone . We hope you and your furry friends all survived yesterday's storm and didn't have too much damage.

Sadly our roof flash started to come away and bent over bringing down some tiles 😔

The roofer will be coming out Monday to fix this.

As we lost some slates and there is a small possibility of an odd one loose up there we have decided to shut off the centre to any visitors.

We do have some piggies coming into our centre today but hand overs will be done in the shop.

Sorry for any inconvenience but best to keep you safe just incase

Storm Eowyn is fast approaching and will start hitting the country later on tonight and through the night. Lasting until Saturday.
The met office are currently warning of potential gusts of over 100mph in Ireland and here is s.w. Scotland, over 80mph. Yes we pray this will be downgraded, even a little.

Please think about pets who live outside. Hutches can easily be knocked over, especially with strong gusts of winds. So please bring them in today until Saturday or shift hutches to garages, etc for their safety.
If you're local to us feel free to pop in before 2 and we can lend you something for indoors if you don't have anything. Ok, it won't be massive but at least they will be safe.

Please think ahead and keep yourself and your pets safe through the storm

Hi fans, we are due to complete phase 1 of our refurbishment this week. Fresh paint going up!!!
These two lovely lads have come in so will be getting to enjoy the new environment on Saturday.
Just how beautiful are they?

🚨Big changes are coming in 2025🚨

Hello, and a happy new year to everyone!

We wanted to share some upcoming goals we have for the rescue in the new year and how we plan to achieve them:

1) Renovation of the boys' area upstairs - this is a huge piece of work with just one-third of the floor being estimated to cost us around £1,000!

2) Working towards obtaining an ultrasound machine to allow us to confirm which girls need to stay with us on pregnancy hold and who can be adopted sooner.

3) Beat last year's rehoming count of 216 piggies!

How do we plan to do all of the above? Well, for that, we will need huge amounts of support from all the lovely people who support us in addition to us hosting more open days and running more fundraising events.

We've had some very lovely people create fundraising events, which we will post in the comments below if you would like to support them with a donation.

If there are any businesses you know of who would be open to sponsoring or supporting, please drop us a wee message, and we'll get those piggies working on a funding request!

We will be posting monthly on here with fundraising updates to keep everyone informed on how we are doing 🧡

Happy new year to all our lovely fans. One of our top fans has made a great sacrifice for the rescue and is giving up her favourite tipples for the whole of January. Any money raised will be going towards the boys' area refurbishment. We are renewing the ceiling and forming a new wall to keep it warmer for all our lovely lads, while they are cared for at the rescue. Thanks Stephanie. Cheers!! Lol

All these amazing gifts have arrived over the past couple of days for the piggies at Christmas 😍😍

So a big thank you to Annie and the Guinea Pig Secret Santa for helping to make this Christmas a very special one here.
