Introducing Torvi, she's a young continental giant bunny who visited at Ashington last week for her all-important annual vaccinations against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease.

Torvi is now fully grown at just over 12 months old and weighs around 6kg, she is a beautiful bunny and is larger than most cats and some small dogs!

Importantly as well as needing all the same things as other rabbits, giant rabbits need more space for their housing and exercising. For more information on the optimum way to look after your rabbits some along to our rabbit night on 5th June 7pm at Moorview Referrals Cramlington NE23 7RH.

UPDATE: REUNITED WITH OWNER

STRAY DOG

We have had a stray entire chihuahua handed into our Backworth practice. He was found on Station Road near the convencience store. He is chocolate and tan. He is microchipped but the details are not up to date. Please contact our Backworth practice immediately on 01912503800. Proof of ownership will be required.

We will be contacting the dog warden shortly to arrange collection if no owner comes forward.
