Pets to far too many people are purely property to dispose of when the novelty wears off, or when they become and inconvenience😔

When your dog comes to the dog pound because you’re tired of him, because he bothers you, prevents you from going on holiday or other excuses...
He sits and waits.
He's waiting for you to come and get him.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a month, a year --- he's waiting for you.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s waiting because he trusts you, because unlike you, he loves you.
Listen up well then. Your animal is not a toy.
Think twice before getting a pet. You have the responsibility of a living being and of a family member.
We have taken in 3 deliberately abandoned dogs in the last 3 days!

So as with most things I'm a bit late...yesterday was International Dog Day. So belated greetings to all our doggy friends and customers ❤️

Yesterday we had to say good by to our lovely Lola, she was coming up to 15 and we'd had the pleasure of her being with us for almost 14 years. Since the day I found her sitting forlornly in the Dog and Cat Shelter she brought so much joy into our lives. The first few months were hard work, she was one year old, had no training, boundless energy and the strongest drive....we learnt so much from working with her. We have had lots of dogs, losing each one leaves a hole that cannot be filled, in the case of dear Lola May it's a gaping chasm💔
So many friends and customers (our Home from Home family!) have got to know her and ask after her, hence the post, we wanted you all to know xx
