Pooch, Potter and Pets is a dog walking and pet sitting service based in the Britannia, Bacup and Stacksteads and surrounding areas, focusing on outdoor adventures with local pooches and holiday care for small animals. My name is Katie and it's my mission to provide a safe, trusting, and reliable service to pets whilst their owner is at work or on holiday. Allowing owners to have peace of mind abo

ut their furry friend. I will create a positive relationship with your pet and work in partnership with owners to provide the best and most tailored care for your pet. I have completed courses in dog walking, pet sitting and basic animal care and hold an enhanced DBS and appropriate insurance. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments of dogs including toy size dogs with big personalities, medium 'vocal' dogs, herding dogs, nervous dogs that need extra support and gentle giants. I have experience with owning and looking after Cats, Rabbits and Guinea pigs. My pooch pack includes my husband, three children, one border collie, two Guinea pigs and a fish.

Well it's been a bit windy on the moors this week hasnt it daisy 😂.
Storm jocelyn has definitely been the strongest so far. Dismantling a trampoline at midnight one night this week wasn't on my agenda but the weather had other ideas.

There will be temporary traffic lights in front of futures park from Monday 27th Jan for the next seven weeks. This will affect travel time and may delay the start of the Pooches normal walk times as this is one of my main travel routes to get back and forth to my little pooches.

Elmo the cheeky kitten who jumped on my shoulders 😂 and was such a friendly little guy.

Little miss Olive (look at her Disney eyes 😍) who had her first session on monday. She did so great. Two super stars ⭐ Buddy and dilli were so welcoming to Olive.

I would to like to thank all my little pals over this last year who have made me laugh and kept me so busy. Thank you to the pooches who have cheered me up this week and the owners for their kind words. I feel honoured to look after your fur babies.

🐾🐾🐾. Hope your Pets are dealing with the fireworks!!! Some are not phased at all but unfortunately for some of the pooch pack it's not a great time of year and are terrified.

In our house, Logan barks at the fireworks and paces back and forth at the windows and daisy is a little fearful of them so to keep them calmer, earlier walks, something yummy to chew and I'm keeping the normal household noises going much later such as washer, dryer Tv and music to mask the sounds 🥴 🥴 calming scents too.
