💘 It’s half term week! 🥳 We have a very busy week ahead with lots of activities for you all to get involved in! 🏇🏻 Let’s hope the weather is going to be kind to us! 🙏🏻

What’s on this week and availability …

🦄 Thursday 12pm - 1.30. Pony Club. Working towards ABRS+ horse care rosette awards. To include hobby horse games and competition with rosette’s awarded! £28pp.
⚠️ Last few spaces available!

❣️ Friday the 21st of February. 45 minute hack. Suitable for all levels and abilities. Wear something red or pink! 👚 £25pp.
❗️1pm hack - 1 space left.
❗️2pm hack - 3 spaces left.

🐴 If you wish to attend our next Stable Management evening, it will be held on Wednesday the 26th from 6pm - 7pm.

To include theory and practical stable management tasks and a half hour riding lesson. We are also working towards our ABRS+ horse care rosette awards. Riding activities will sometimes include mounted games, horseball and other fun activities! £25 per person. Please get in touch to book in.

🌦️ We are ready for another busy week here at NA and with half term next week, there is lots to look forward to. If you haven’t booked your half term activities yet, make sure you do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as spaces are filling up quickly! ❤️‍🔥

Here is what we have coming up this week …

❗️If you wish to attend Stable Management evening tomorrow (Wednesday the 12th), we can still accommodate you but please let us know before 12pm tomorrow so we are able to adjust ponies, groups and plans accordingly.

We talk about them a lot during lessons and we feel it may be beneficial for you to have an image of them to refer to. They are essential to improving your riding and relationship with your horse. 🐴

🐴 Thank you to everyone who attended Stable Management on Wednesday evening. You were all very enthusiastic and gave some great answers.

We practiced another ride, lead, mount and dismount exercise during our riding practical. This included having to back the horse through parallel poles from the ground which everyone handled really well. 👏🏻 We then studied passports and why they are such an important part of your horse’s identity and wellbeing. We also discussed what is involved when a horse is subject to a pre purchase vet check and revised parts of the grooming kit. Hopefully you have all taken home some new knowledge to ponder. 💭

Our next session will be held on Wednesday the 12th of February from 6pm - 7pm. Please get in touch to book your place. 😊

🏇🏻 If you wish to put your name forward to be considered for this year’s Team Show Jumping series, please speak to Linda at your next lesson.

Please consider that you will be required to jump a full course of show jumps under competition rules in the jumping field. You will be required to attend once per month (dates to be confirmed) and we are likely to run the series from May through to September. Class heights vary from 50cm up to 70cm. All candidates will be seriously considered. Teams, classes and pony allocations will be announced in April.

If you feel that this may be something you wish to be involved in, then please let us know! ☀️😊

Well done everyone on doing a great job at leading in hand last night and with your mounting and dismounting. 👍🏻 💯

We had a very festive, fun time on our fancy dress Christmas hacks today. Thank you to everyone who joined us, we hope you liked your special gifts from Santa and your fancy dress was spectacular as always! 🎁🏇🏻

⛄️ This was taken at 12.30 today. 😩 For those of you who haven’t got much snow left, we unfortunately aren’t so lucky and have a new covering with sheet ice everywhere. The roads are also fairly treacherous on the way up to us. This does of course mean that all lessons today will have to be cancelled again. 😢 We are incredibly frustrated but the weather is out of our hands. 🔹 You will be booked in for your usual lesson time next Friday unless you state otherwise. Let’s hope for a thaw very soon. 🙏🏻 We will update everyone later on today regarding the possible status of lessons tomorrow, as we are now expecting Storm Bert which may get rid of the snow but will bring torrential rain and gale force winds with it. 🙄 We will keep you posted … 🫶🏻

Here we go again … 🙄 We certainly weren’t expecting this amount of snow this evening. 😢 #naequestriansnowglobe

When we say we do everything we can to get rid of the snow, we really mean it! 🙈 A million wheelbarrow’s later, a leaf blower and a flame thrower, we have made some improvement to the arena. All we can do now is hope for a thaw tomorrow to help with what’s left. 🤞🏻 We have done all we can, even Ted helped! 🐶

Another fantastic lesson with these two wonderful ladies today. So wonderful to see them working together week on week and encouraging one another. 🫶🏻

Storm Lillian subsided just in time for us to enjoy our 2 hour Advanced hack on Friday. Everyone had a great time and we can’t wait for our 4 hour hack coming up this week! 🤠

Pony Club, Mounted Games & more Rosette Awards … 🏵️ What a great time we had on Pony Club this Thursday again. We practiced skipping out & bedding down, tacked up, played our new revision game, this time for parts of the grooming kit and parts of the saddle & bridle and then went full speed with our mounted games! 🏇🏻

What a fantastic evening we have had, albeit rather blustery! Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Clear Round evening. You were all absolutely amazing and we are so proud of all of you for taking part. Hopefully we will see some more new faces at our next one on the 21st of August 😀 Enjoy your rosettes everyone! 🏵️
