All rabbits must be up to date with their vaccinations before boarding and in good health. Price per night is £5 or £7 for two sharing (you need to supply their own dry food so they don't have the stress of a change). The large kennel and the chalet are £7 per night or £9 for two sharing.

We had a stray rabbit brought in this morning from the Haslingden area, judging by its coat it has only been out a short time and may have escaped following the recent storm. We don't get too many missing rabbits in so no picture added but if you are missing yours please get in touch with a description. Email [email protected]

Predator proof wire is so important for the safety of your rabbits.

You’ve probably heard us banging on about predator proof enclosures and why wire is so important!

Here’s a quick guide to help you choose the right wire to keep your buns safe from predators like foxes and weasels! 🦊

🚫 What NOT to use:
• 22 Gauge wire (13mm x 25mm holes) – Way too thin! Foxes can easily tear through it, and the holes are big enough for weasels to squeeze in.
• 17 Gauge wire (25mm x 25mm holes) – Still not strong enough for foxes, and the holes are much too big.
• 16 Gauge wire (13mm x 25mm holes) – Stronger (good against foxes), but the holes are still too big for keeping out smaller predators.

✅ What TO use:
• 16 Gauge wire with 13mm x 13mm holes – This is your winner!
It’s strong enough to stop foxes and the small holes will keep out sneaky little weasels.

💡 Tip: Always check for sharp edges when handling or cutting wire – it’s easy to get scratched!

⚠️Remember: It’s just as important to ensure the ground is predator proof too to stop foxes and other predators digging under runs! Wire can be dug under or a solid base such as slabs can be used.
