Bunny Hols boarding for rabbits

Bunny Hols boarding for rabbits Rabbit boarding for all sizes of bunny, from Dwarf to Continental. Many years of rabbit experience, too many to mention!

All rabbits must be up to date with their vaccinations before boarding and in good health. Price per night is £5 or £7 for two sharing (you need to supply their own dry food so they don't have the stress of a change). The large kennel and the chalet are £7 per night or £9 for two sharing.

The ones that made it alive are the lucky ones but so many didn't, somebody must live near the person who had hundreds of rabbits and now suddenly doesn't have them.

Because of all of you 🥹❤️

- Between last night and this Saturday coming we have 15 of the female bunnies in for a spay, 2 of the males booked in for a neuter and all 17 to be vaccinated!

- The bunnies that are due to go to other rescues this week will now be going neutered, spayed and vaccinated.

- We have been able to share money donations to the rescues that so kindly took on bunnies for us yesterday to put towards their foreseeable vet bills.

- We have so many donations of food, medicine, treats ect that we can help with care packages to the rescues that have taken the bunnies.

- Foster homes and places within other rescues for every bunny that needs it and for any future bunnies that maybe born have been secured.

- We know that when the bunnies are ready so many of you have expressed you would like to offer them forever homes and we will let you all know as soon as they are ready.

Below is a list of all of the rescues that have taken in bunnies or will be taking in bunnies this week and we would ask you all to please share your kindness and generosity with them as they have shown us and these wonderful rabbits;

Berkshire Animal Rescue
Hug A Bunny Hotel
Hannah’s Guinea Pig Sanctuary
Eastbourne Rabbit & Guinea Pig Rescue
Shrewsbury Rabbit Rescue
Greatfield Small Animal Rescue
Bunnies & Piggies In Need Rescue UK
The Rabbit Residence Rescue

Details of how you can help each rescue will be on their page ☺️

From the bottom of our hearts we thank you

Rabbits are naturally crepuscular, this means they are at their most active at dusk/twilight time or early dawn. They are prey animals and know they are at their most vulnerable during daylight and night time so they confine their activity to the time when daytime humans and hawks etc) and nocturnal predators (foxes, badgers, owls etc) are least likely to attack them. Pet rabbits soon learn a routine and so will adapt to you and be awake at the time you normally feed and play with them but they will still prefer to be active at dawn and dusk. This video is a bit dark as it was dusk but it shows how active the rabbits become as night draws in. Another reason (as if we need one!) as to why a hutch is not enough!
